Skipping Cutscenes Is Possible

Normal Cutscene

Yes, for the most part, cutscenes are skippable in Arknights: Endfield. Once a cutscene is shown, you will have the option to move over the scene to continue gameplay.

This can also allow you to engage in the gameplay more if you don't feel like watching the cinematics, or if you have seen the cutscene before but gets replayed if it was interrupted mid-way and restarts.

Short Animated Cutscenes Are Unskippable

There are some instances where cutscenes will play that are fully animated and do not pause with each line of dialogue. These kinds of cutscenes are unskippable, but they are far shorter compared to regular cutscenes.

Press Skip Button to Move Past Cutscenes

The Skip Button

In the game, when cutscenes appear, you can press the assigned hotkey to skip the cutscene, or move the cursor to the topmost-right corner of the screen.

Press that button to move past the specific cutscene, which will then lead you back to playing the game or directly into the next cutscene if there is another.

When skipping a cutscene on a Mission that tells a story, the game provides a summary of the events that take place during the cutscene. This is to make sure there is still an idea of what's happening, even when skipping the cutscene that should explain the context.
