This Endfield tier list ranks all characters from SS-Tier to C-Tier based on their combat strength and team utility, updated as of March 2026.
Operators within the same tier are ranked in order from left to right, top to bottom.
The strongest characters in the current meta are Laevatain and Ardelia. Laevatain is the strongest DPS due to her high damage output, excelling in AoE and performing well in single-target content.
Ardelia is the current uncontested best support, featuring potent debuffs applicable for both Arts and Physical teams.

Laevatain
+ Strong AoE DPS
+ Uncontested in power due to high damage and wide range - Team dependent, requires Combustion and Corrosion from the team
- Requires a lot of Heat Infliction from the team |
Laevatain is currently the strongest DPS in the game, featuring high damage and a wide range, in addition to an accessible team available for all players. Acquiring Laevatain is the only step to build her team, as her other team members are easy to get from story progression, event reward, and a 4-star from Headhunting.
While Laevatain excels in clearing mobs, her single-target damage is great as well, and she can perform the same rotation in both scenarios. This makes Laevatain easy to play, allowing players to focus on boss mechanics rather than optimizing team rotations.
Combining team accessibility, ease of use, and an amazing performance, Laevatain is undoubtedly one of the best characters in Version 1.0.
Ardelia
+ Can heal
+ Can apply Arts and Physical Susceptibility + Can forcibly apply Corrosion - Healing requires active pickup in the field
Ardelia is a flexible healer who can slot in many teams. Her debuffs are universal and have a long duration, her Combo Skill can be triggered by anyone, and her healing is enough for the current content.
The only thing that could potentially hold Ardelia back is the requirement of picking up her sheep to provide healing, which can disrupt positioning or the flow of combat. However, Ardelia's debuffs and flexibility more than make up for that, taking the top spot in the tier list as the current best support in Version 1.0.
Avywenna
+ Decent Electric DPS
+ Can apply Electric Susceptibility - Damage will suffer when played incorrectly
- Damage is backloaded |
Avywenna is the core carry of Electric teams, boasting strong burst damage when played correctly. She can apply her own Electric Susceptibility to boost her own damage with her Talent, able to coexist with Electrification and either Corrosion or Arts Susceptibility present in her teams.
Currently, Avywenna is one of the strongest carries in Umbral Monument, able to shine in nearly all stages due to her strong and controlled damage output. While her backloaded damage requires plenty of setup, players can easily adjust their rotations to time her burst damage when it matters the most, such as in weakpoint phases.
Yvonne
+ Strong Cryo DPS with flexible team options
+ Has minor crowd-control via Solidification - Primarily single target
- Struggles when mobs are scattered |
Yvonne excels in single-target scenarios, bursting down Elites and Bosses with her Ultimate, while offering some crowd-control via Solidification. She can buff her own damage against enemies with an active Cryo Infliction or Solidification, further increasing her damage potential as a carry.
However, other teams, such as Laevatain or Avywenna, can perform in single-target content as well, with the added bonus of having better AoE than Yvonne. While Yvonne is still strong, her usability is limited compared to Operators higher in the tier list.
Chen Qianyu
+ Great Vulnerable applicator for Physical teams
- Limited to Physical teams
Chen Qianyu is currently the best source of Vulnerable stacks, able to apply Lift via her Combo Skill and Battle Skill. She is currently the core unit of Physical teams, as these teams rely on having multiple Vulnerable stacks to maximize their kits and trigger Crush or Breach.
Chen offers crowd control with her constant Lifts, able to juggle enemies in midair, trivializing fights such as Rampaging Shields in Umbral Monument.
Additionally, her damage is solid as well, and provides a decent source of Stagger via her low-cost Ultimate. This can be further boosted by the Swordmancer set, allowing Chen to expedite triggering Stagger windows with her skills and Ultimate.
Endministrator
+ Can play as a Physical DPS
+ Can support via Realspace Stasis talent + Excels in single-target - Can only apply Crush, requiring Vulnerable management
The Endministrator is a Physical DPS that can apply Crush, buff their own Attack, and apply a Physical DMG Taken debuff. They are a strong and easy to use carry, able to perform a burst of damage in a short time by simply triggering Crush or casting Ultimate on an enemy encased in Originium Crystals.
Moreover, Endministrator's second potential allows them to buff the team when their Essence Disintegration talent is triggered. This is especially strong in Physical teams, as nearly all members of the team can contribute decently to the total damage per rotation against an enemy.
Notably, Endmin can only apply Crush. While they can initiate the first Vulnerable stack, they require the rest of the team to apply Vulnerable stacks to maximize the Crush damage, which warrants a bit of planning and team rotation management.
Pogranichnik
+ High SP generation
+ Decent damage + Can apply Breach - Greedy with Vulnerable stacks to maximize SP generation and damage
Pogranichnik is the premier Vanguard for Physical Teams as he can generate SP, buff the team via Frontiers set and his weapon options, apply Breach, and perform off-field damage via his Steel Oath stacks from his Ultimate.
While powerful, Pogranichnik struggles with anti-synergy from the current Physical carries, namely the Endministrator and Da Pan, as players must decide between triggering Crush or applying Breach.
Gilberta
+ Strong crowd-control
+ Can apply Arts Susceptibility + Has minor healing + Provides an Ultimate gain buff - Loses healing in single-target content
- Wants Vulnerable to maximize the Arts Susceptibility debuff, something absent in Arts teams |
Gilberta offers rare crowd-control and potent debuffs, and the ability to trigger Corrosion via her Nature Infliction. She provides Ultimate gain efficiency to ally Guards, Casters, and Supporters, as well as healing via her Talent.
Gilberta places high in the tier list due to her support capabilities. She features one of the strongest Arts Susceptibility in the game, and has the rare niche of crowd control that eases the positioning and grouping in her teams.
However, Gilberta cannot maximize her debuff as Arts teams lack a source of Vulnerable other than her own Combo Skill, and her Ultimate gain buff does not benefit the main carries of her current teams, as both of them are Strikers. Lastly, her healing is nonexistent in single-target scenarios.
Xaihi
+ Core support for Cryo teams
+ Can apply Arts Amp, Cryo Amp, and increased Cryo DMG Dealt - Limited to Cryo teams
Xaihi is a core unit in Cryo Teams, supplying Cryo-related buffs and debuffs for the carries to utilize. Xaihi is currently irreplaceable in her respective teams, as she simultaneously plays the role of a buffer, debuffer, and healer.
Last Rite
+ Strong Cryo DPS
+ Can apply Cryo Susceptibility - Team dependent; wants a lot of Cryo Infliction from her team
Last Rite is a single-target carry that can apply her own debuffs to boost her DPS, and boasts strong burst damage with the right rotation. She can be played on-field or off-field if players wish, as her Battle Skill can be triggered by anyone performing a Final Strike.
However, Last Rite has a strict requirement of 3 or more Cryo Inflictions to perform her burst combo, severely limiting her team options. While she performs well as a single target Cryo DPS, her multiple restrictions make her far less flexible in both team building and rotations.
Lifeng
+ Can apply Physical Susceptibility and Link
+ Has decent personal damage - Trades a Vulnerable stack to apply Physical Susceptibility
Lifeng applies Physical Susceptibility and Link, and an extra source of Vulnerable stack via his Ultimate. His kit allows him to deal damage while providing buffs and debuffs.
While Lifeng shines in sustainless Physical teams, he can still be replaced by Ardelia due to her ability to heal and apply a stronger Physical Susceptibility. However, his Link and personal damage still hold value, as Physical teams tend to have the whole party deal damage, something Ardelia lacks as a pure support.
Antal
+ Can apply Heat and Electric Susceptibility
+ Can apply Heat and Electric Amp - Limited to Heat and Electric DPS
- Primarily single-target |
Antal boasts buffs and debuffs for Heat and Electric teams, able to apply Susceptibility to enemies and Amp for the team. His Combo Skill adds another stack of the applied Infliction as well, able to set up for stronger Reactions or have carries utilize it, such as Laevatain and her Melting Flame mechanic.
However, Antal's Focus mechanic is purely single-target and often goes unused against mobs. He still places high in the tier list due to the support he offers, but is held back by both his team and scenario restrictions.
Perlica
+ Flexible unit for any Arts teams
+ Can forcibly apply Electrification via Combo Skill, which only requires Final Strike - Short uptime on Electrification
Perlica is one of the core units of Electric teams, able to apply Electric Infliction and Electrification to enable or trigger the teammate's Combo Skills. Her own Combo Skill is an easy trigger as well, allowing her a spot in Arts Teams solely for the Electrification debuff.
However, her debuff has uptime issues with its 5-second duration on a 20-second cooldown. This makes it so her rotations would have to play around this limitation to maximize the team damage, such as triggering it only during a stagger window with all Ultimates active.
Wulfgard
+ Core unit for Heat teams with Laevatain
+ Great Heat Infliction applicator + Can play as a Heat/Combustion DPS - Heat Infliction application may suffer when played incorrectly
- Main DPS performance is lacking |
Wulfgard applies the most Heat Inflictions out of all the characters, able to apply two with his Battle Skill into Combo Skill. This can be used to set up stronger Arts Reactions, and is notably valuable for Laevatain due to her Melting Flame mechanic.
Wulfgard's personal DPS is notably lacking, however, as the bulk of his damage comes from his enhanced Battle Skill, at the cost of a stack of Heat Infliction. As getting Laevatain's enhanced Battle Skill and Ultimate charge is more important than Wulfgard's own damage, this limits him to an Infliction applicator role.
Akekuri
+ Flexible SP generator for virtually any team
- SP generation requires Staggering an enemy or casting ultimate
Akekuri is a flexible SP generator, able to find a spot in any team and buff them via the Frontiers set. However, her primary source of SP generation is via her Ultimate, as generating SP via her Combo Skill is inconsistent depending on the enemies present.
She can still perform her role as a Vanguard for any team that lacks one, but notably falls behind on teams with specific SP generators such as Pogranichnik and Arclight.
Arclight
+ High Combo Skill frequency
+ Decent SP generation for Electric teams - Consumes Electrification to generate SP
Arclight is the Vanguard of Electric teams, able to buff the team with the Frontiers set and her Wildland Trekker Talent. She has a high frequency of SP generation and can convert Electric Infliction into Electrification.
However, Arclight's talent requires spending SP thrice to activate, totalling a net loss of 210 SP to trigger her buff.
Da Pan
+ Can play as a Crush DPS for Physical teams
+ Strong in AoE content - Lacks team support, something other Physical team members have
Da Pan is a Physical DPS with Crush, excelling in AoE content due to the cooldown reduction of his Ultimate. He can set up his own Vulnerable stacks as opposed to the Endministrator, but lacks the team support that Endmin offers.
Notably, Da Pan is held back by requiring 4 stacks of Vulnerability to trigger Crush. While the current Physical team variants can enable this easily, this still restricts Da Pan's team rotations, especially as Endministrator is a free character that can simply trigger Crush anytime as long as a stack of Vulnerable is present.
Ember
+ Can heal and provide shields
+ Can apply Vulnerable stacks - Limited to Physical teams despite her Heat element
- Healing requires getting hit |
Ember provides healing and shielding, and is primarily a support for Physical teams despite her Heat element. She can provide Knock Down as well, acting as an additional source of Vulnerable in Physical teams.
When built properly, Ember's healing and shielding is sufficient in the current state of the game. However, other sustain options are still better than Ember, with Ardelia providing Susceptibility and Xaihi applying Amps. This does not devalue Ember, however, as sustain options are lacking in the current roster.
However, note that Ember's kit is clunky in practice. When her Ultimate's shield is present, her Combo Skill does not trigger if the controlled Operator is hit. When her Combo Skill is triggered, the heal will only apply if her attack hits an enemy, affecting her performance against fast targets like in Rampaging Shields.
Fluorite
+ Adds Cryo and Nature Inflictions
- Limited in utility
Fluorite's main niche is how she can apply another stack of Cryo or Nature Infliction, depending on the present Infliction on the enemy. Fluorite can apply her own Nature Infliction as well, granting access to Corrosion if the team requires it.
However, Fluorite is held back by her high Combo Skill cooldown and somewhat high Ultimate cost, limiting the use of her only niche. Her kit cannot trigger team supporting effects from gears as well, such as Frontiers or Xiranite, further limiting her utility.
Fortunately, Fluorite's niche is needed in the current Cryo team variants. Unlike Heat and Physical, that has Wulfgard and Chen, Cryo teams are lacking in sources of Cryo Inflictions. This affects Fluorite's place in the tier list as well, placing her higher in the list as she fulfills a niche required by 2 strong teams in the roster.
Alesh
+ Great SP generation for teams with Solidification or Originium Crystals
- Greedy with Cryo Infliction stacks
- Relies on RNG to deal decent damage |
Alesh is the Vanguard of Shatter teams, able to generate SP via Combo Skill or Ultimate. He boasts high multipliers for his own damage and has a small chance to boost his SP gain.
Alesh has plenty of conditions in his kit, boosting his SP recovery depending on Cryo Infliction stacks, or upon defeating enemies with his Ultimate. However, his kit only has SP generation and lacks the buffing other Vanguards have outside of the Frontiers set.
Notably, Alesh's team is a weak archetype, with no true carry and support that can capitalize on the team's advantages. His Cryo Infliction consumption is anti-synergistic with the current Cryo team variants as well, and his infrequent Cryo Infliction does not help these teams much either, affecting his place in the tier list.
Snowshine
+ Can heal
+ Can forcibly apply Solidification via ultimate - Utility is heavily restricted to healing
- Cryo Infliction relies on enemy behavior |
Snowshine offers healing and forced Solidification, with a Cryo Infliction on Battle Skill. She is currently not a core unit for any team, and her Infliction is tied to enemy behavior, making it an unreliable source in a rotation.
Due to her restrictions, her primary utility lies in her healing via Combo Skill, but requires the ally to be below a certain amount of HP to trigger. This means that the team is hardly ever fully healed, which makes her role as a healer lacking in performance.
Estella
+ Decent Cryo Infliction application
- Limited to Shatter teams, currently a weak archetype
Estella is the core unit for Shatter teams, applying Physical Susceptibility to enemies with Solidification.
However, Estella's team variant is currently in a weak spot, as the team requires both Inflictions and Vulnerables. This team requires both Arts and Physical damage, which currently does not have a proper support or DPS in the roster.
This affects Estella as well, as her niche isn't as powerful as the other options currently, affecting her place in the tier list.
Catcher
+ Can provide Protection and shields
+ Can apply Weaken - Vulnerable relies on enemy behavior
- Shielding requires an ally on low HP |
Catcher offers shields and weaken, and can apply a stack of Vulnerable on Battle Skill and Knock Down via Ultimate.
Catcher's shield is held back by its long cooldown and condition, only triggering if an ally falls below 40% HP. This lack of healing and its restrictive condition hampers his role as a sustain, leaving the team unprotected for the majority of the fight.
His Vulnerable stack on Battle Skill is dependent on enemy behavior as well, making it an unreliable source in team rotations, especially as the current Physical teams want more Vulnerable stacks for Crush or Breach.
| Tier | Description |
|---|---|
SS Tier |
Operators ranked SS are powerful units that perform among the best in their intended role, along with a flexible enough kit to fit in multiple teams. Acquiring these characters can improve an account's performance regardless of its state. |
S Tier |
Operators rated S-tier are core members of their respective teams. They are irreplaceable in their roles, featuring potent kits that enable their teams to reach a higher ceiling. |
A Tier |
A-tier Operators have strong and versatile kits that can perform well in the current content, but will often end up as substitutes, stopgaps, or flex slots to teams that want them. |
B Tier |
Operators in this tier are substitutes at best, but have subpar kits that are less versatile than those in A-tier. They can still perform well in their intended roles, but are overshadowed in power or flexibility by those in higher tiers. |
C Tier |
These Operators are limited in usage due to subpar numbers or restricted utility. They may have a niche they can perform well in, but are easily replaced by higher-tiered Operators. |
4-star characters are ranked at max potential due to its accessibility, the Endministrator is ranked at Potential as it is free via story progression, and all other Operators are ranked at Potential 0 regardless of their rarity.
All evaluations are focused solely on their performance in combat. This tier list ignores an Operator's value outside of combat, such as their Outpost compatibility and Base Skills.
DPSes have their combat performance evaluated in their best team. Supports are ranked by the value of their buffs in their possible teams, along with their flexibility outside of it.
