Read Messages from Fiona the Comms Officer

To start the quest, open up Baker and read Fiona's messages. She tells you to proceed to Wuling's Agricultural Test Site to help with crop cultivation.

Head east of the Core AIC Area in Wuling to go to the Agricultural Test Site. You find the Exhausted Nongye Tianshi outside the entrance waiting for assistance.

Tian Min worries about being understaffed and not making it in time. Half of their seeds of Amber Rice were lost, so you offer to help him out with their crops. Tian Min gives you 1 Amber Rice to start.

Purchase Amber Rice Seeds from Wellmorin

Approach Wellmorin, the botanist nearby, to purchase Amber Rice seeds. One Amber Rice seed costs 2000 Wuling Stock Bills, so make sure to have enough Wuling Stock Bills.

Use Crafting to Craft Amber Rice Plot

Open your Backpack and head to the Crafting menu. Click on the Planting tab to craft an Amber Rice Plot with 1 Amber Rice Seed and 1 Carbon.

Place the Amber Rice Plot

Place the Amber Rice Plot

Select the Amber Rice Plot from the Backpack. Place the plot anywhere within the farming area and then inform Tian Min about it.

Talk to Tian Min

Talk to Tian Min

Return to Tian Min and speak with him. You give him the idea of using sprinklers for irrigating the test fields. Tian Min is delighted with the idea and suggests you try it later.
