Where Danger Sleeps is the fifth and final quest under the The Way of Water mission series. This quest is under Chapter 2 - Process 2 of the main story and is located in Wuling City.
How to Unlock Where Danger Sleeps
Where Danger Sleeps is unlocked after completing The Surging Tide from The Way of Water quest series with no level restriction.

Where Danger Sleeps Walkthrough
Where Danger Sleeps Quest Guide
- Go to the Main Road Between Wuling and Jingyu Valley
- Go to Qingbo Stockade
- Follow Tangtang
- Place the Sub-PAC
Go to the Main Road Between Wuling and Jingyu Valley
Head to the road bridging Wuling and Jingyu Valley. As you reach the location, continue following the path until you reach Sanku Ridge. Keep following the long trail until you meet Tangtang at the opposite side of a broken bridge.
Go to Qingbo Stockade
Activate the switch to repair the bridge. Follow the trail to reach Tangtang at Qingbo Stockade.
Follow Tangtang
Follow Tangtang inside to verify the deployment site for the AIC construction. Run with her until you reach the wide area to place the Sub-PAC.
Place the Sub-PAC
Approach the marked spot to place the Sub-PAC. Tangtang promises to take you on a tour to the Ancestral Spring. The mission ends with a brief appearance of Ardashir and Nefarith.
