The DPS will be the core member of any team as the primary source of damage. Teams will typically revolve around enabling the kit of a DPS to maximize their damage potential.

Supports further heightens a team's damage potential, supplying buffs and debuffs for the party to utilize. They are typically the second member to consider after the DPS to support their ability to deal damage.

Above are possible supports for each DPS. Ardelia and Gilberta have generally strong kits that allow them to be slotted in multiple teams, while Antal and Xaihi have specialized buffs that allow their teams to shine.

Arclight Pogranichnik Akekuri

SP Generators, or Vanguards, allow the team members to deal perform more Battle Skills, increasing their damage output. It is recommended to have at least one SP generator on the team, especially if the members rely on their Battle Skills to enable their kit.

Akekuri

Akekuri has a flexible kit that allows her to fit in multiple teams purely as an SP generator. Pogranichnik, Alesh, and Arclight, however, have more specialized kits that allow them to generate more SP than Akekuri as long as they're in the right team.

Physical statuses and Arts reactions are essential game mechanics that provide potent effects, such as reducing resistance or increasing damage taken. Incorporate this when building a team as a team's synergy may depend on this mechanic as well.

Ensure that Combo Skills Can Be Activated

Operators have Combo Skill that can only be triggered when specific requirements are met. These can range from performing Final Strikes or triggering certain Arts Reactions in battle.

Ensure that these Combo Skill requirements can be met with the team members present to maximize the potential of each Operator's kit.

Combo Skills Can Only Be Triggered In Sequence

Note that Combo Skills can only be triggered in the order they activate. If Ardelia's Combo Skill is present when Xaihi's Combo Skill is triggered, Xaihi's Combo Skill cannot be activated until Ardelia's Combo Skill is cast or has run out of duration.

For Combo Skills with similar requirements, such as Wulfgard and Antal, the leftmost Operator's Combo Skill will trigger first.

An example of a synergistic team built around the Electrification reaction features Avywenna, Perlica, Antal, and Arclight.

Perlica's Electrification application via her Combo Skill triggers Arclight's Combo Skill, as well as Avywenna's after a Final Strike. Antal supports the team by applying Electric Susceptibility and Electric Amp, significantly boosting the team's overall damage.

Select Team in the Menu

Open the Menu and select Team to arrive at the team editing screen.

Choose a Spot to Fill or Replace

Select any of the spots to either place a character, or replace the current character in the slot.

Once selected, choose the character be placed in the chosen spot.

Max 4 Members in a Team

Note that a team can only consist of up to 4 team members. Players will need to plan around this limitation when forming their team.
