Surging From a Withered Spring is unlocked after reaching Authority Level or above and completing the The Flow Splits Course quest.

Surging From a Withered Spring Walkthrough

  1. Talk to Tangtang
  2. Defeat Ruan Yi
  3. Return to the Ancestral Spring and Find Tangtang

Talk to Tangtang

Surging 1
Following the events of the last quest, you will have to talk to Tangtang, who is nearby. Be weary though that a very long cutscene will happen after talking to her, followed by a boss fight, so before continuing here, make sure to have your characters set.

Where Danger Sleeps Main Mission Guide

Defeat Ruan Yi

Surging 2
After the long cutscene, you will then have to defeat Ruan Yi, to proceed. This boss is at least Level 65 so upgrade your team and make them reach at least Level 60 to make the fight more comfortable.

How to Beat Ruan Yi

Return to the Ancestral Spring and Find Tangtang

Surging 3
After the fight, another long cutscene will play that concludes this mission, leading you to the following mission of this questline.
