How to Access Mail Cache

Check out the Mail Cache by accessing the Mail menu on the top-left corner of the Protosync Menu, depicted by an open envelope. Then, click on the Mail Cache on the right side of the list of mails you have obtained.

This will bring up the unclaimed items that came from deleted mail.

Text Mail is Lost Forever When Deleted

Unfortunately, when a mail gets deleted from the in-game inbox, it is permanent. While the attached items are saved in the Mail Cache, the text itself from the mail is lost forever.

What is the Mail Cache?

The Mail Cache

The Mail Cache is a special feature in the Mail menu, located on the right side of the screen. They allow the player to claim items that have yet to be collected from previously deleted mail; either due to the time limit expiring or being deleted manually.

Stores Lost/Missed Items from Mail

Items Saved in Mail Cache

The Mail Cache only shows up in the Mail menu if items from previous mail that have been deleted were left unclaimed.

Cache Can Hold Up to 500 Items

There is a limit of 500 different items that can be stored in the Mail Cache. Be sure not to let it get full, as this could lead to some items in the mail being lost for good if storage becomes too full for more items!

Cannot Retrieve Items if the Backpack is Full

Backpack

Some items that you receive from the Mail and Mail Cache are automatically saved into your Backpack. Be sure to have some space in your baggage first before claiming them to avoid unwarranted losses!
