Currently No Way to Increase Backpack Space In-Game

Arknights Endfield Backpack
The game currently has no way to increase inventory space as of Version 1.0 and the current limit of items your inventory can hold is 35, each with their own max stack per slot.

How to Save Inventory Space

Use Easy and Field Stashes

Put in Depot Stashes
You can move items and collected materials to Stashes, available via unlocking the Field Stash and the Protocol Transfer Technology in the AIC Exploration Tech Tree, Level 1 and 2, respectively.

Thiis will allow you to create Easy Stashes for storing materials out of your inventory, or Protocol Stashes which can be used in AIC Facilities to instantly store produced materials.
