Survive the Gas Stage 1 Mechanics

Normal Careful. The Mist continuously deals DMG to all operators. The Mist deals more DMG and new enemies will appear. When the controlled operator receives HP treatment, other teammates receive 70% of that HP treatment as well.
Agony When the controlled operator receives HP treatment, other teammates receive 50% of that HP treatment as well. Tacticals and consumables cannot be used.

Agony Mode adds an effect on top of the Normal Mode mechanics.

Laevatain is very strong for this stage with her AoE attacks that can clear enemies quickly. Wulfgard and Akekuri will help Laevatain gain her Melting Flame stacks fast. Akekuri will also help in recovering Skill Points.

Ardelia is the best healer and sustain unit for this stage with her Shadows of Mr. Dolly. She is extremely useful for the stage's mechanic, where operators gradually lose HP due to the mist. She can also apply Physical and Arts Susceptibility on enemies, helping with your team's damage.

Gilberta is a great unit to use for this stage, as she can group enemies. Avywenna can take advantage of the grouping with her Battle Skill to pierce through enemies and deal damage.

Perlica is a good support and can help set off Avywenna's Combo Skill by using Electric Infliction. Ardelia will heal the team and make enemies more vulnerable by applying Physical and Arts Susceptibility.

For a free-to-play team, the Endministrator is a good main damage dealer for a Physical team. Pairing the Endministrator with Chen Qianyu to do chains of Battle Skills and Combo Skills can take down the enemies fast.

Akekuri will provide Skill Point recovery since the team will be reliant on them. Lastly, Ardelia is the best sustain unit because she can heal and provide debuffs to the enemy.

Pogranichnik can fill in Akekuri's slot as the source of SP Recovery in a Physical team. He has better synergy with Physical units and can contribute more to team damage.
Endfield Da Pan Da Pan Role: F2P Team DPS Replacement
Da Pan is a good alternative as the main damage dealer in the F2P team, or any Physical team, with his ultimate that can potentially deal more damage with Crush procs.
Endfield Lifeng Lifeng Role: Ardelia Replacement
Lifeng can pull enemies with his Ultimate and apply Physical Susceptibility. He can be a good substitute in a Physical team, but losing a healer like Ardelia for this stage will make it harder to clear.

How to Beat Survive the Gas Stage 1

  1. Consistently Heal The Team
  2. Group Enemies and Deal AoE Damage
  3. Avoid Bonekrusher Siegeknuckles's Skill

Consistently Heal The Team

With the Mist continuously dealing DMG to all operators, prioritize healing the team since you cannot use any Tacticals in Agony mode. Using sustain units like Ardelia will greatly help in this stage in providing team-wide healing.

Group Enemies and Deal AoE Damage

Group Enemies and Deal AoE Damage

With the first 10 enemies spawning far away from each other, you can use skills that group enemies or use AoE attacks to reach the enemies. Being able to clear them quickly will save you time to focus on the Bonekrusher Siegeknuckles.

Avoid Bonekrusher Siegeknuckles's Skill

The final enemy in this stage is the Bonekrusher Siegeknuckles. They have a lot of strong attacks, especially with their Charged Skill. Interrupt the Charged Skill with a Battle Skill or Combo Skill, or perfectly dodge them to avoid getting staggered and losing more HP and time.
