Westward into the Vale is the fourth quest under the The Broken Lands mission series. This quest is under Chapter 1 - Process 1 of the main story and is located in The Hub.
How to Unlock Westward into the Vale
Westward into the Vale is immediately unlocked after completing the Rally and Unite quest and has no level restrictions.

Westward into the Vale Quest Guide
- Go to the Bridge Approach
- Defeat the Landbreakers
- Check the Bridge Switch
- Transmit Power to the Bridge Approach Electric Nexus
- Activate the Bridge Switch
Go to the Bridge Approach
Right after the Valley Pass quest, make your way to the Bridge Approach to start Westward into the Vale.
Optional: Make a Piece of Basic Gear
Before going to the Bridge Approach to start, you have the option to make basic gear for operators. Gears provide stat bonuses and effects to make your characters stronger.

Defeat the Landbreakers
Defeat the Landbreakers as you near the bridge. Once cleared, more Landbreakers show up and outnumber you. To your suprise, Wulfgard, a Landbreaker specialist, helps you out. This is when the player receives Wulfgard for free.
Check the Bridge Switch
The bridge switch is not working. Return to the Core AIC Area by using the TP to start planning on powering up the switch.
Transmit Power to the Bridge Approach Electric Nexus
To power up the bridge switch, initiate power transmission and connect the cable from the POC to the switch. As you near the distance limit, drop a Relay Towers to cover the distance.
Activate the Bridge Switch
Now powered, activate the bridge switch to lower the bridge to reach Valley Pass. This is where the mission ends and crossing the bridge will start the next quest.
