How to Do Arts Bursts

Use Combat Skills to Trigger Arts Infliction

Use your Combat Skills to trigger Arts Infliction, applying the element of your respective character on an enemy during your attacks. This can be easily seen beside the enemy's health bar with the element appearing.

Characters have varying ways to trigger Arts Infliction, so make sure to read their Combat Skills in the Characters menu. Basic Attacks, Battle Skills, Combat Skills and Ultimates can all potentially apply Arts Bursts.

Combat System Tips and Tricks

Physical Characters Do Not Apply Arts Infliction

Physical Characters do not apply Arts Infliction as they have a different set of reaction mechanics unique to Physical by applying the Physical Status instead.

Stack Arts Infliction to Trigger Arts Bursts

Stack Arts Infliction on the enemy to trigger the related Arts Bursts related to it. The elemental infliction stacked on a target will be the resulting Arts Bursts unleashed on the enemy.

Applying Arts Bursts will deal extra elemental damage of the same type inflicted on the target. Inflicting Cryo Infliction when stacked for example, results in a Cryo Burst, dealing Cryo DMG to the target.

Electric IconElectric Infliction Electric Burst
Deals Electric DMG after a short delay

Heat Burst

Heat Burst can be applied to targets by Heat characters after stacking Heat Infliction on them as a debuff status. This causes additional Heat DMG to the target after a short delay once triggered.

Cryo Burst

Cryo Characters can apply Cryo Infliction as a debuff status and when stacked, will cause Cryo Burst, causing Cryo DMG to the target after a short delay.

Nature Burst

Nature Burst can be triggered after applying Nature Infliction on them as a debuff status by Nature characters, resulting in additional Nature DMG once triggered.

Electric Burst

Electric Burst is also triggered by stacking Electric Infliction on targets as a debuff status, causing additional Electric DMG on trigger after a delay.
