Bought From the Stock Redistributor

You can purchase a set amount of Keen Detectors from a Stock Redistribution Terminal located in either Valley IV or Wuling. Each Keen Detector initially costs 1,000 Stock Bills, but after upgrading the Terminal to replenish its stock, additional Keen Detectors will cost 5,000 Stock Bills each.

How to Use Keen Detector
Used to Detect Crates Within a Radius
Access your Valuables Stash through the Main Menu, or press the N key on PC. Select the Keen Detector from the Valuables item category and select Use on the lower-right side of the screen to activate it. Doing so will ping one nearby crate within your radius, and the crate icon will stay marked on the map, making it easy to track.
Note that the Keen Detector can only be used after all fogged locations in an area have been fully explored. Otherwise, the item cannot be activated.
Keen Detectors are Region-Locked
Keen Compasses purchased from Valley IV Stock Redistribution Terminals are restricted to use within Valley IV only. This restriction also applies to other Keen Compasses. For instance, those obtained in Wuling can only be activated in Wuling and cannot be used in any other region.

Using this points you to storage crates scattered throughout the area. Several words have been engraved along the edge of the device: To those who persevere in hopelessness.
