What Kind of Character Are They? | ・A Fire-Type Legendary Hero ・Can prevent dragons from counterattacking ・Very powerful exclusive special skill |
Might: 16 Range: 1 Effective against dragon foes. Grants Spd +3. Grants bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current bonus on each unit’s stats. Calculates each stat bonus independently. |
Cooldown Count = 2 At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants unit Atk/Spd/Def/Res+6 for 1 turn and grants allies within 2 spaces of unit Atk+6 for 1 turn. Boosts Special damage by 35% of unit's Spd. After combat, if unit's Special triggered, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+6 to unit and all allies for 1 turn. (Bonus granted to allies even if unit's HP reaches 0.) |
If unit is adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/Spd+5 during combat. |
If unit's Spd ≥ foe's Spd+5 or if unit is in combat against a dragon foe, unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack and foe cannot counterattack or make a follow-up attack. |
Infantry allies within 2 spaces gain: "If unit’s Spd ≥ foe’s Spd +1, grants Special cooldown charge +1 per attack. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack. )" |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (18) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Atk (24) | ★★★★☆ | |
Spd (13) | ★★★★★ | |
Def (8) | ★★☆☆☆ | |
Res (4) | ★★★☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for L!Marth are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows L!Marth to battle non-dragon units with more ease, and it will also increase the power of his special. With a superbane in HP, a -Res IV is the safer option.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging L!Marth to 10. With a +Spd IV, Marth's Spd stat will reach 46 with 10 merges, which makes it even easier to prevent follow-up attacks from enemies and allows L!Marth to get more follow-up attacks on his own. Alternatively, you can use buffs to raise his Spd and go with +Atk.

This build uses Bond skills to boost Marth's stats. Ensure that he is adjacent to allies to get maximum output!

This is a budget build for Legendary Marth with minimal Skill Inheritance. His default kit is already decent enough and Atk/Def Bond will compliment his A slot.

Spurn 3

This build works for Aether Raids and general use. Distant Counter helps Legendary Marth retaliate against ranged attacks, while Spurn 3 reduces damage and helps him deal more damage when his Special triggers.

This is a build designed to give Legendary Marth the most points in Arena. Any Dual Rally skill will work as his Assist, while R Duel Infantry 4 will help him with scoring. Even though you will not always run into dragon teams in Arena, Binding Shield's SP cost makes it necessary for higher scores. Blade Session 3 ups L!Marth's overall firepower, though you can also opt for Atk/Spd Solo 3.

SP: 400 | |
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: 3 Effective against dragon foes. Grants Spd+3. Grants bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current bonus on each of unit's stats. Calculates each stat bonus independently. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 50% or if 【Bonus】 is active on unit, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit during combat. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 and bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current penalty on each of unit's stats x 2. :500 :200 |
|
Legendary Marth's refined Exalted Falchion retains the Bonus Doubler effect and grants an additional +4 to all stats during combat.
The special effect refine grants an additional +4 to all stats during combat and the Unity effect, which reverses all penalties and turns them into bonus stats for Marth.
This is a huge upgrade for Legendary Marth, as it shuts down his main weaknesses which is the Panic status rendering his weapon useless.
Without a doubt, we highly recommend the special effect refine for Legendary Marth's Exalted Falchion.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
L!Marth is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Legendary Marth is a Fire-Type Legendary Hero, and when summoned, you will receive a Fire Blessing. During Fire Season, allies who appear in a team alongside L!Marth will gain HP+3 and Res+4 when they have been given a Fire Blessing.
Exalted Falchion provides bonus damage on dragon foes and Binding Shield II guarantees a follow-up attack on dragons. It also prevents dragons from making counterattacks and follow-up attacks.
This makes him very strong in the arena where powerful dragon units like Mila and Spring Myrrh are prevalent.
If Legendary Marth's Spd is significantly higher than the foe's Spd level, Binding Shield II now also grants these effects:
1 | Legendary Marth makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. |
---|---|
2 | Foe cannot counterattack. |
3 | Foe cannot make a follow-up attack. |
With Binding Shield II, these effects were only online against dragons. Make sure to buff up Marth's Spd stat to make the most out of this skill!
L!Marth's special skill, Shining Emblem, boosts his damage by 35% of his Spd and grants all allies Atk/Spd/Def/Res+6. Not only L!Marth is a powerful individual unit, but he can also make his allies stronger too!
it also has another buff that is triggered at the start of the turn if he is in close proximity with his allies. This provides Atk/Spd/Def/Res +6 for him, and Atk +6 to his allies.
L!Marth's exclusive weapon, the Exalted Falchion grants him bonuses to all stats equal to the amount of bonuses on each individual stat. This effectively doubles the existing buffs on L!Marth during combat.
Infantry Flash 3 grants infantry allies within 2 spaces of L!Marth an effect identical to Flashing Blade 3, wherein it grants them cooldown charge +1 per attack if they go into combat with a foe whose Spd +1 is less than or equal to the unit's Spd.
This futher helps L!Marth's role as a leading unit who provides multiple buffs to his allies in Arena.
L!Marth has a low Res stat. If he is attacked by a tome or dragonstone user, there is a high possibility that he will be taken out. While he is excellent as an anti-dragon unit, it is important that he is the one to initiate combat, or else he could potentially be one-shotted.
Always be mindful of Marth's positioning in relation to the enemies who pose a threat to him in the enemy phase, especially blue tome units.
Robin (M) | Legendary Azura | Nils | Robin (F) |
Legendary Edelgard | Brave Edelgard | Ninja Hana | Brady |
Because L!Marth's strength relies on how many buffs he can double using his skills, it is a good idea to pair him up with units who can buff him reliably.
A good example would be Legendary Azura, who can buff and provide another action to L!Marth using Gray Waves and Prayer Wheel. She can also buff L!Marth using Atk Tactic 3.
Another example would be Robin (M) and Robin (F) who can buff all of L!Marth's stats if their weapon has the special refinement effect.
If you need a healer for L!Marth, Brady would a good choice, as he can speed up L!Marth's special cooldown using Infantry Rush.
We recommend a green unit with high Atk to team up with L!Marth, as he has trouble dealing with blue units (particularly magic users).
Some good suggestions would be Legendary or Brave Edelgard, as well as Ninja Hana. They are all durable units who can take advantage of the buffs L!Marth provides.
Aversa | Kiria | Brave Hector | Reinhardt |
Duo Ephraim | New Year Alfonse | Fallen Corrin (F) | Legendary Corrin (F) |
L!Marth has low Res, and magic users, especially blue ones, can exploit it easily. Units to watch out for include Reinhardt and New Year Alfonse.
Additionally, even red magic users will deal high damage to L!Marth so watch out for strong red tome units like Kiria and Aversa.
Always be mindful of L!Marth's positioning in relation to the units that pose a threat to him. When L!Marth is taken out, you lose access to the various buffs that he provides, which is especially important in Arena.
L!Marth has a hard time dealing with blue physical tanks like Brave Hector, even if he has a lot of buffs stacked on him. It is wiser for you to send out your other units against these units and let L!Marth focus on the other units instead.
Because of L!Marth's reliance towards buffs, he is not so good in dealing with foes that have skills like Dull Close 3 or Lull Atk/Spd 3, which both debuff L!Marth and his allies.
Pay close attention to units like Aversa, and Fallen Corrin that have penalty skills like Panic Ploy 3 and Panic+ as they can turn the buffs on L!Marth into penalties.

L!Marth can be used to inherit the skill Infantry Flash 3. However, L!Marth is a fire-type legendary hero who can lead your allies in Arena so we recommend building and training him instead.
Legendary Marth is a limited time Hero who can be pulled from a Legendary Hero Summoning event. They do not appear in regular summons.
Note: Not currently a featured hero in any Summon events.

Ever since people began referring to me as Hero-King, I’ve been pondering the true meaning of justice. Victory births the defeated, and the defeated vow vengeance through clenched teeth. This means history is forever doomed to repeat itself. My father struck down, my country seized... I, too, have seen losses, so I can empathize. After fleeing to safety, I swore to restore my homeland with the help of my comrades. It was Nyna who entrusted me with the Fire Emblem...and it strengthened my resolve to fight on. I no longer fought for vengeance... I fought for the people. I found victory only because I had first found so many allies who shared my new sense of justice. They lent me their strength, and we fought as one. And now, I have come to believe that you share that same sense of justice. Let us continue to fight as one, {Summoner}. |
