When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Legendary Robin (M) are +Atk and -Def. His Atk is his highest stat and has a superboon to emphasize boosting it through an asset.
His other stats are clearly average all around and any of them can be safely taken as a bane. We recommend -Def due to his archetype as a mage making him lean towards battling other mage enemies.
We recommend +Atk when merging Legendary Robin (M) for similar reasons above. Atk is his best stat and should be boosted as much as possible to achieve knockouts easier.

This build uses Special Spiral 4 to consistently charge Bonfire after every combat. Special Spiral also allows Robin to bypass most damage reduction skills. Panic Smoke 4 adds the Foe Penalty Doubler effect which amplifies Robin's damage from the penalties applied by both Panic Smoke 4 and Master's Tactics. Atk/Res Ideal 3 should always be active due to the Grand Strategy status.

Legendary Robin (M) is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Legendary Robin's exclusive tome Master's Tactics grants the 【Grand Strategy】 status to Robin and his nearby allies at the start of each turn. 【Grand Strategy】 is a Unity effect for Atk/Spd/Def/Res that persists through turns until the 【Grand Strategy】 status is neutralized. In simple terms, this status reverses all stat penalties by applying twice as much bonuses to each stat.
【Grand Strategy】
Grants bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current penalty on each unit's stats x 2 for 1 turn. (Example: if unit has -7 penalty to Atk, grants Atk+14, for a net bonus of Atk+7.) Calculates each stat bonus independently. Unit's negative effects that last "through unit's next action" will remain in effect until this status (Grand Strategy) is neutralized.
In addition to granting the 【Grand Strategy】 status, Master's Tactics also inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-4 to Legendary Robin and inflicts a -6 stat penalty to each nearby ally's two highest stats. These penalties are then reversed by 【Grand Strategy】, turning them into bonuses during combat.
Master's Tactics also inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-3 onto the closest foes to Robin and all foes within 3 spaces of those foes, and inflicts Atk/Spd/Res-5 and follow-up denial onto Robin's foe during combat.

Legendary Robin's exclusive A skill Part of the Plan grants a guaranteed follow-up attack and another Unity effect to Robin and inflicts Atk/Spd/Res-8 onto his foe.
The Unity effect from this skill stacks with the Unity effect from 【Grand Strategy】, doubling down on in-combat stat bonuses based on current stat penalties applied to Robin.
Using the base Atk/Spd/Def/Res-4 from Master's Tactics, both 【Grand Strategy】 and Part of the Plan will then grant a total of Atk/Spd/Def/Res+16 to Robin during combat.
Legendary Robin (M) heavily relies on 【Grand Strategy】 and Part of the Plan to buff himself during combat.
There are multiple ways to negate these effects, including some that may even come from your own units and actions, such as skills that neutralize penalties or by effects that cleanse away debuffs like Odd Recovery 3.
Ensure that Robin's allies do not neutralize penalties to themselves in order to take advantage of Robin's multiple Unity effects.
Additionally, both 【Grand Strategy】 and the visible stat penalties are only applied at the start of each turn if Robin's HP ≥ 25%. If he is below this threshold, these effects will not trigger.
