The best IVs for Marth are +Atk and -Res. A higher Atk stat allows Marth to to one-hit most dragon foes, making it the most optimal one. We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Falchion

We recommend getting the special effect refinement for Falchion. This upgrade buffs allies within 2 squares of Marth with a +2 to all stats. Considering that it buffs all ally stats, it has a high range, and that it buffs all units regardless of weapon type or movement type, it is a very easy skill to trigger, and is great for support. On top of that, it will heal Marth on every odd numbered turn, as opposed to every third one.

Marth's exclusive weapon, the Falchion, deals bonus damage against dragons and heals Marth for 10 HP at the start of every third turn. It is a strong weapon that provides great utility, especially when refined.

Marth is a well-balanced character, but he has a low Res stat compared to his other stats.
