Brady's recommended IVs are +Spd and -Def. With a Spd bane, Brady will be able to get a follow-up attack against most enemies. Additionally, his Def stat is already rather low, so having it be slightly lower will not make a huge difference.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a low investment build for Brady. As a staff user, none of his stats are anything special, but can be extremely useful as an infantry team support unit. Refining Slow+ with the the Dazzling Staff effect to prevent counterattacks will allow him to lower the foe’s Spd so another unit can finish them off.

If you do decide to refine his default weapon, Slow+, we recommend the Dazzling Staff effect upgrade, which will prevent the foe from counterattacking. Brady is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Res stat, if he has Wrathful Staff equipped.

Brady's Strengths

Can debuff the Spd of multiple foes

Brady can use his weapon skill Slow+ to inflict Spd -7 to all foes within two spaces of target after combat. This serves the dual roal of allowing allies to land follow-up attacks more often and preventing foes from getting as many follow-up attacks.

Gains an Atk/Res buff when HP is 100%

Brady's A slot skill Atk/Res Push 3 gives him Atk and Res +5 when his HP is at 100%. Brady cannot heal himself, however, so if you would like to use the skill multiple times you will need to do so by inheriting the appropriate skills, or by having a support unit.

Can speed up the special cooldown of infantry units

Brady's C skill Infantry Rush 3 will give all infantry allies within two spaces the effect of Heavy Sword 3. In an all infantry team, this is a powerful skill for allowing all allies' specials to trigger.

Brady's Weaknesses

Low Def stat

Brady has a low Def stat, so he is very weak to physical attacks. If a foe counterattacks with a physical attack, he will take a ton of damage. Avoid this by upgrading his weapon in the weapon refinery to prevent counterattacks, or by inheriting Dazzling Staff.
