What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon skill attacks twice, grants bonus stats to unit and inflicts stat penalties onto foe, cuts damage reduction in half, and slows down foe's Special. ・Exclusive A skill grants a Distant Counter effect, bonus stats, damage reduction on foe's first attack, and grants a Miracle plus recovery effect once per map. |
Might: 11 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Unit attacks twice (even if foe initiates combat, unit attacks twice). At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-X on foe during combat (X = number of distinct game titles among allies within 3 spaces of unit x 3, + 4; max 10), reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and also, if foe's attack can trigger foe's Special and unit's Res ≥ foe's Res+5, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first attack during combat (cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown). If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. |
Cooldown Count = 3 Boosts Special damage by 40% of unit's Res when Special triggers. If unit's or foe's Special is ready, or if unit's or foe's Special triggered before or during this combat, and also, if unit's Res ≥ foe's Res-4 during combat, reduces damage from foe's next attack by 40% (once per combat; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
Unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range. If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+9 to unit during combat and reduces damage from foe's first attack during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by 40% ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). If the number of allies within 3 spaces of unit ≥ 3 and foe initiates combat, if unit's HP > 1 and foe would reduce unit's HP to 0 during combat, unit survives with 1 HP, and after combat, restores 99 HP to unit (effect only triggers for player's team once per map and does not stack with non-Special effects that allow unit to survive with 1 HP if foe's attack would reduce unit's HP to 0; when any other such effect triggers on a unit granted this effect, this effect will trigger too). |
Foe's with Range = 1 cannot move through spaces adjacent to unit, and foes with Range = 2 cannot move through spaces within 2 spaces of unit (does not affect foes with Pass skills). Inflicts Spd/Res-4 on foe and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 40% during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). Restores 7 HP to unit after combat. |
At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 and "Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack)" to unit for 1 turn. If unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+3 to unit during combat. |

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Legendary Alear (M) are +Spd and -HP. Boosting Spd improves his Spd enough to where he can keep up with the fastest metagame units and avoid follow-up attacks made through Spd checks.
With Alear's multiple sources of damage reduction, he is expected to take part in multiple engagements. Thus, we recommend an HP bane as reducing either Def or Res will lead to Alear taking more damage overall if he enters combat more than once.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Legendary Alear (M) up to +10 in order to maximize his chances of avoiding follow-up attacks from his foes and creating follow-up attacks of his own.

Legendary Alear (M)'s base kit is already good enough to run stock and have him be a formidable unit. We opted for Atk/Spd Form Sacred Seal as he is expected to be within proximity of multiple allies to trigger his Miracle + recovery effect.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Legendary Alear (M) is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Legendary Alear (M)'s exclusive weapon skill Divine One's Arts attacks twice on both phases and grants him Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 during combat.
It also inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-X on Alear's foe, where X is 4 plus three times the number of distinct game titles among allies within 3 spaces of Alear (total penalties capped at -10), cuts the foe's non-Special damage reduction effects in half, and inflicts Special cooldown count +1 onto his foe before foe's first attack if his foe has an offensive Special and Alear wins a Res check.
This weapon has a good mix of offensive and defensive abilities allowing Legendary Alear (M) to excel at both phases.
Legendary Alear (M)'s new Dragon-only inheritable Special skill Dragon's Roar boosts his damage by 40% of his Res upon triggering.
Additionally, if either Alear's or his foe's Special skill is ready or triggered before or during this combat, and if Alear wins a Res check, Dragon's Roar grants Alear 40% damage reduction on his foe's next attack.
This is a simple but effective Special skill that does bonus damage and improves Alear's overall bulk, making it a great option at all times.
Legendary Alear (M)'s exclusive A skill Emblems' Miracle has a built-in Distant Counter effect and grants him Atk/Spd/Def/Res+9 and 40% damage reduction on his foe's first attack during combat.
It also grants Alear a Miracle effect if Alear has 3 or more allies nearby and his foe initiates combat, while also fully restoring his HP after combat if he survives. The Miracle and recovery effect is only applied once per map, but it is incredibly effective at keeping Alear healthy and allowing him to survive a critical blow.
Legendary Alear (M) takes 1.5x damage from dragon-effective weapons like Divine Mist, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
