What Kind of Character Are They? | ・A Duo Hero with a unique skill ・Gains +3 to all stats when a bonus is active ・Nullifies skills that prevent follow-up attacks |
Might: 14 Range: 2 Effective against flying foes. Grants Spd+3. If a bonus granted by a skill like Rally or Hone and/or extra movement granted by a skill like Armor March or Armored Boots is active, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+3 and Special cooldown charge +1 per unit's attack during combat. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.) |
Cooldown Count = 2 Boosts damage dealt by 30% of unit’s Spd. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res +4 to unit and all allies for 1 turn after combat. (Bonus granted to allies even if unit’s HP reaches 0. ) |
Grants Atk/Spd+X to unit during combat. (X = 2 × number of allies within 2 spaces, + 1; max 7.) |
If unit initiates combat, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat. If unit's HP ≤ 80% and unit initiates combat, unit can make a follow-up attack before foe can counterattack. |
At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to an ally, grants Spd+5 to unit and adjacent allies for 1 turn. |
Duo Skill |
---|
Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+3 and【Bonus Doubler】to armored and flying allies within 3 rows centered on unit. (That turn only. Does not stack.) 【Bonus Doubler】 Grants bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current bonus on each of unit's stats for 1 turn. Calculates each stat bonus independently. (Duo Skills can be used once per map by tapping the Duo button. Duo Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.) |
Duel |
---|
If unit is 5★ and level 40 and unit's stats total less than 185, treats unit's stats as 185 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills.) |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |

HP (18) | ★★☆☆☆ | |
Atk (24) | ★★★★☆ | |

Res (6) | ★★★☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
W!Marth's best IVs are +Spd and -HP. With his superboon in Spd, Marth can gain Spd+4, significantly increasing the number of follow-up attacks he can land. HP is generally speaking the least important stat, so it is the ideal bane.
If you are trying to build a +10 merge W!Marth, we recommend +Atk. When W!Marth has +10 merges, his Spd will already be at a healthy 45, so instead of making this even higher, we recommend increasing the damage output from each hit he gets. If you want to be absolutely sure that he always lands a follow-up attack, you could still go with +Spd instead.

This build uses Winter Marth as a Far Save tank with his high Spd. Clever Fighter works best with high Spd armors like Marth. Atk/Spd Unity is used to prevent Panic from neutering his potential.

This is simply a budget build for Winter Marth that makes use of his base kit. Thanks to his bulk, he can tank attacks and deal good damage in the enemy phase. In the player phase Daring Fighter 3 takes care of his offensive needs!

SP: 400 | |
Might: 14 Range: 2 HP: Effective against flying foes. Grants Spd+3. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 50% or if 【Bonus】 is active on unit, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 and Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack during combat. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.) If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit during combat, and if foe initiates combat and uses bow, dagger, magic, or staff and unit's Spd > foe's Spd, unit can counterattack before foe's first attack, and unit can make a follow-up attack before foe can counterattack. :500 :200 |
|
Refined Tanngrisnir adds bonus stats, Special cooldown charge acceleration, Spd Preempt 3, and a Desperation effect on enemy phase.
This makes Winter Marth a formidable Vantage sweeper by attacking first at all times and potentially triggering his Special to knock out his foe before they can even attack.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Winter Marth is a ranged physical attacker (Range = 2). When the effects of the Weapon Triangle are not taken into account, the damage he deals will be equal to his Atk minus the foes's Def.
W! Marth's Duo Skill raises his arena score, in addition to granting him a powerful battle effect. Duo Heroes have a Duo Skill which can be used once per map. Additionally, his Duel effect treats his stats as 185 in Arena modes, giving him a huge advantage over many other heroes.
Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+3 and【Bonus Doubler】to armored and flying allies within 3 rows centered on unit. (That turn only. Does not stack.)
【Bonus Doubler】
Grants bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current bonus on each of unit's stats for 1 turn. Calculates each stat bonus independently.
(Duo Skills can be used once per map by tapping the Duo button. Duo Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.)
Standard Effect 1: Duel
If unit is 5★ and level 40 and unit's stats total less than 185, treats unit's stats as 185 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills.)
Winter Marth's Duo Skill will grant +3 to all stats of armored/flying units within three rows of Marth, and since Bonus Doubler's effect is also added in, this will effectively give them all +6 to every stat. Additonally, this effect is cast on W!Marth as well, meaning that he can both support allies as well as buff himself to unleash a powerful attack.
Marth's exclusive weapon Tanngrisnir will give him an additional +3 to all stats when he has a bonus on him. When this effect activates, he also gains special cooldown charge +1, and if he gains a follow-up attack, his special skill Fire Emblem is sure to trigger as well. This has great synergy with his Duo Skill, and allows Marth to become extremely threatening when buffed.
The B Skill Daring Fighter has the effects of Null Follow-Up, cancelling enemy skills that prevent follow-up attacks when Marth initiates combat. It also includes the effects of Desperation, allowing him to attack in succession when his HP drops low enough.
As an armored unit, W!Marth will take heavy damage from foes with weapons like Armorslayer, Hammer, or Slaying Lance, which are effective on armor. Be sure and check which weapons your foes are using beforehand.
