In Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, remake of the classic Japan-exclusive Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, encounter various allies with special abilities and add their power to your army! The different types of allies are referred to as classes.
In Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, the amount of units at your disposal to attack the enemy are limited, so deciding on which allies you will use to take on various different opponents will be a test of player skill!

In FE:Shadow Dragon, your team of characters move and battle on a gridded map, where you must control your allies to have them maneuver around the battlefield to win the fight. Like other games in the series, your units that die in battle do not come back to your side, so the stakes in every battle are very high.
Using the touchscreen, you move your characters in front of a fow to initiate combat, so precisely how you position your allies is very important.
