When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for L!Ephraim are +Atk and -Res. A higher Atk stat allows L!Ephraim to deal more damage. Since L!Ephraim can use Flame Siegmund for his follow-up attacks, there is no need to try and further increase his Spd. Raising offensive power for L!Ephraim also means raising his suvivability, because of the effects of Sol and Solar Brace. As for a bane, -Res or -HP are ideal.
We recommend a +Spd IV when building a +10 merged L!Ephraim. With a +Spd IV, L!Ephraim's Spd stat will reach 34 with 10 merges. A higher Spd stat lowers L!Ephraim's reliance on Flame Siegmund to make follow-up attacks an makes it hard for enemy units to make follow-up attacks on him, thus increasing survivability.

This build maximizes Ephraim's attack for consistent Heavy Blade 3 activations. Heavy Blade, Flame Siegmund and Solar Brace II all work together to make activating Galeforce a breeze.

This budget build for Legendary Ephraim allows him to be a threat in both phases of battle. Only engage combat with physical units, and he will be very survivable.

This build uses refined Flame Siegmund to activate Galeforce after one round of combat, assuming Ephraim attacks twice and receives a counterattack. Atk/Def Solo skills work with Flame Siegmund to stack Atk and Def as much as possible.

SP: 400 | |
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: 3 Grants Atk+3. If unit initiates combat or is not adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/Def+4 to unit during combat and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, inflicts Atk/Def-5 on foe and grants Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack during combat. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.) :500 :200 |
|
Flame Siegmund's refine grants Atk/Def+4 to Ephraim and allows him to make a guaranteed follow-up attack if he initiates combat or is not adjacent to an ally.
It also inflicts Atk/Def-5 to his target and grants him Special cooldown charge+1 per attack.
This gives more firepower to Legendary Ephraim and also accelerates his Special.

L!Ephraim is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Legendary Ephraim is a Fire-Type Legendary Hero, and when summoned, you will receive a Fire Blessing. During Fire Season, allies who appear in a team alongside L!Ephraim will gain HP+3 and Def+4 when they have been given a Fire Blessing.
Flame Siegmund guarantees follow-up attacks when the number of foes within 2 spaces of the target unit is more than or equal to the number of allies within 2 spaces of L!Ephraim.
It allows L!Ephraim to execute frequent follow-up attacks as the conditions are rather easy to meet.
If you refine this weapon, he'll be able to score this follow-up attack if he initiates combat or is not adjacent to an ally, making this easier to trigger.
It will also inflict Atk/Def-5 to his target, grant him Atk/Def+4, and also give him Special cooldown charge+1 per attack.
This makes him a powerful offensive unit that can make good use of Specials like Galeforce.
Sol and Solar Brace add up to a whopping 60% of damage recovery whenever Sol activates.
Because Sol has a somewhat low trigger count of 3, L!Ephraim can rely on his defensive skills for survivability.
Sturdy Stance 2 grants L!Ephraim +4 to Atk/Def whenever the foe initiates combat. This allows L!Ephraim to be a decent solo unit in the enemy phase, but look out for green tome users!
L!Ephraim has a low Res stat. If L!Ephraim is attacked by a magic user, there is a high possibility that he will be taken out. Always be mindful of L!Ephraim's positioning in relation to the enemies who pose a threat to him in the enemy phase. Pay extra attention to green tome users!
L!Ephraim is a Cavalry unit, making him weak to skills against such units such as Gronnwolf. If attacked by a unit with this type of skill, L!Ephraim will take 1.5x damage. Be mindful of what skills your enemies are equipped with.

Winter Tharja | Idunn | Gunnthrá | Veronica |
L!Ephraim is a cavalry unit, and can take advantage of buffs for that movement type. Good examples are Hone Cavalry and Goad Cavalry, as both can greatly boost L!Ephraim's stats. If you plan to build an all-cavalry team, Veronica is a great option for a healer, as she can both buff allies and inflct penalities on the enemy team.
L!Ephraim is not great at dealing with green foes. To fully utilize L!Ephraim, pair him up with units that can take out green units for him, such as Hoshidan Summer Micaiah and Lilina. who can easily take out strong green units such like Surtr. Other great options include W!Tharja, L!Marth and Exalt Chrom.
Reinhardt | Legendary Tiki (Young) | Myrrh | Nino |
Winter Fae | Brave Micaiah | Veronica | Fallen Tiki (Young) |
While Ephraim enjoys a very high Def stat, his Res is rather low, so magic users will not have a hard time taking him out. Be careful of green magic users who have weapon advantage against him such as Nino, Myrrh and W!Fae. In addition, high-powered blue mages can deal lots of damage to him as well.

Thanks to the Legendary Remix, Legendary Ephraim has gained Atk/Def Solo 4 for fodder purposes. However, he is a solid overall unit, so you should train and build him instead. If you get multiple copies of L!Ephraim, you should merge them for a very powerful unit that can lead your team in the Arena.
Legendary Ephraim is a limited time Hero who can be pulled from a Legendary Hero Summoning event. They do not appear in regular summons.
Note: Not currently a featured hero in any Summon events.

You wanted a fight... Yield or perish! No one can stop me! You’re a worthy opponent. |
Lv 40 5★ Dialogue become available when a hero attains Lv. 40 at 5★ rarity.
Thanks to your ability to summon Heroes, you’ve been thrust into the position of a leader. That power is truly profound. It has the potential to shake the worlds. You should consider the impact you could make. What foe could possibly be beyond your grasp? I know that’s a strange thought, but I’ve pondered this for a long time... You see, I’m drawn to battle. The stronger I get, the more I want to fight. I’m driven to test myself. I know that’s just how I am. But I also realize that this is not a healthy impulse for a king. People here call me a Legendary Hero, and sing my praises... They say that I am a good king, one who has vowed to protect his people. I will become king, one day. And though I am not yet that man, I hope to be. And I will protect my people... Not just them. My friend also hoped to save his people, and I will protect them, too... My goal is to be a king beyond kings—one who breaks the bounds of human frailty. I hope I can reach that goal one day. |
