As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Groom Marth will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.

+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Groom Marth are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Groom Marth to get a ton of follow-up attacks on his foes. It also protects him from hostile follow-up attacks. His Res is very low of less importance and thus safe to be taken as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

Fast Cavalry Axe Unit

Groom Marth his one of the fastest cavalry axe units in the game. This allows him to fill specific niches in your teams. Since it is easy to execute follow-up attacks, you can easily defeat many opponents without taking counterattacks if you choose to inherit Desperation 3 onto him.

Has 3 Buff Skills

Ardent Service grants +4 Atk to Groom Marth and any adjacent ally for 1 turn, Drive Atk 2 grants +3 Atk to allies within 2 spaces during combat, and Rally/Spd Def grans +3 to said stats for 1 turn. They are all easy to use and can make your main offensive unit very strong as it all adds up to a total of +7 Atk, + 3 Spd/Def. This allows G!Marth to function as a useful support unit on your team.

Can Warp to Allies in Need

Wings of Mercy 3 allows Groom Marth to teleport to spaces adjacent to allies if their HP ≤ 50%. This allows Groom Marth to turn the tides of battle together with that ally using the buffs mentioned above. This is especially important in Grand Hero Battles where all allies need to survive for you to clear the map.
