What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon skill attacks twice, grants bonus stats to unit and inflicts stat penalties on foe, and grants 40% damage reduction on area-of-effect Specials and foe's first attack. ・Exclusive Special deals bonus damage based on Spd, grants 40% damage reduction on foe's attack if Special is ready or triggered, and neutralizes non-Special percentage-based damage reduction effects whenever unit's or support partner's Special triggers. |
Might: 11 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Unit attacks twice (even if foe initiates combat, unit attacks twice). At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit during combat, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-X on foe during combat (X = number of allies from distinct titles within 3 spaces of unit x 3, +4; max 10), and reduces damage from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) and from foe's first attack during combat by 40%. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. |
Cooldown Count = 3 Boosts Special damage by 50% of unit's Spd. If unit is on a team with their support partner, when unit's or unit's support partner's Special triggers (excluding area-of-effect Specials), neutralizes "reduces damage by X%" effects from foe's non-Special skills. If unit is within 3 spaces of their support partner and unit or foe's Special is ready or triggered before or during this combat, reduces damage from foe's next attack by 40% (once per combat; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+7 to unit during combat, and also, if unit's Special is ready or unit's Special triggered before or during this combat, deals +5 damage during combat (except when dealing damage with area-of-effect Specials) and when unit deals damage during combat, restores 7 HP to unit. (Triggers even if 0 damage is dealt.) |
Inflicts Atk/Spd-4 on foe, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's counterattacks, and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 30% during combat. |
At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 and "Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack)" to unit for 1 turn. If unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+3 to unit during combat. |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |

HP (16) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Atk (11) | ★★★★★ | |
Spd (12) | ★★★★★ | |
Def (5) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Res (4) | ★★★☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Legendary Alear (F) are +Spd and -HP. Alear's Spd is the highest in the game as of her release at base 47, and boosting it allows her to outspeed a majority of her foes.
+Atk is also a good option to take advantage of her Dragon's Fist attacking her foes twice or even four times.
Alear's HP and Def are the preferred banes due to her above average Res allowing her to potentially survive magic damage attacks. We recommend HP because it is easier to patch up than Def.
We recommend +Spd when merging Legendary Alear (F) up to +10 to maintain her edge as the fastest unit in the game (as of the time of her release).

This build utilizes Alear's very high Spd to quickly attack her foes and defeat them with multiple hits powered by Dragon Blast. Mag. Null Follow disables her foe's effects that prevent her follow-up attacks, allowing her to quad attack if she outspeeds them.

Legendary Alear (F) can also run a mixed phase build utilizing her high Spd and damage reduction effects to function both offensively and defensively. The Distant Counter (D) Sacred Seal will be essential to retaliate against ranged foes.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Legendary Alear (F) is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Legendary Alear (F)'s exclusive weapon Dragon's Fist allows Alear (F) to attack twice in combat, up to four times if she outspeeds her foe.
It also grants Alear adaptive damage against ranged foes similar to other dragonstones, Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 during combat and inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-X onto her foe, where X is dependent on the number of allies from different titles near Alear.
Finally, Dragon's Fist also grants Alear 40% damage reduction from her foe's area-of-effect Specials and from their first attack as well, enhancing her survivability even further.
Legendary Alear (F) also comes with an exclusive Special skill in Dragon Blast. This Special boosts her damage by 50% of her Spd and grants useful effects to both herself and her support partner.
Whenever Alear's or her support partner's Special is triggered, the foe's non-Special percentage-based damage reduction skills are neutralized. This effect allows both Alear and her support partner to pierce through damage reduction effects and allow their Special skills to nuke down their foes.
Additionally, if Alear is within 3 spaces of her support partner and either her or her foe's Special is ready or has already triggered before or during combat, Dragon Blast reduces the damage of her foe's next attack by 40%. This damage reduction effect is added on top of the damage reduction effect of Dragon's Fist, making Legendary Alear (F) tougher to defeat!
Legendary Alear (F) takes 1.5x damage from dragon-effective weapons like Sealed Falchion or Divine Mist, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Does the 40% DR from her special apply to the support partner, also? It's too much hassle to try & test. This game makes skill descriptions so convoluted, & unclear sometimes.
