| What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Ancient Majesty has dragon-effective damage, inflicts Atk/Res-7, 【Frozen】 and 【Guard】 to closest foes and other foes near the target foes, grants Naga bonus stats, true damage, and 50% DR piercing. ・Divine God Fang has built-in Guidance 4, grants 【Dragon-effective damage】, 【Dragon Shield】, and 【Empathy】 to Naga and nearby allies, grants Naga bonus stats, true damage, true DR, and Special cooldown charges per attack during combat. |
|
Might: 16 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Effective against dragon foes. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. At start of player phase or enemy phase, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, inflicts Atk/Res-7, 【Frozen】, and 【Guard】 on closest foes and any foes within 2 spaces of those foes through their next actions. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = number of allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit x 3, + 5 (max 14), deals damage = 15% of foe's Atk (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
|
Cooldown Count = 3 Boosts Special damage by 40% of unit's Res when Special triggers. If unit's or foe's Special is ready, or if unit's or foe's Special triggered before or during this combat, and also, if unit's Res ≥ foe's Res-4 during combat, reduces damage from foe's next attack by 40% (once per combat; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
|
If foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Res+7 to unit during combat, and also, if foe's attack can trigger foe's Special and unit's Res ≥ foe's Res +5 during combat, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first attack. (Cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown.) |
|
Enables 【Canto (Rem. +1; Min 2)】. Inflicts Atk/Res-4 on foe during combat and unit deals +7 damage including when dealing damage with a Special triggered before combat. 【Canto (Rem. +1; Min 2)】 After an attack, Assist skill, or structure destruction, unit can move spaces = any movement not already used that turn + 1 (min 2; if unit used a movement skill that warped them, its remaining movement is 2). |
|
Allies within 2 spaces of unit can move to any space within 2 spaces of unit. At start of player phase or enemy phase, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants "effective against dragons," "neutralizes 'effective against dragons' bonuses," and 【Empathy】 to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit, unit deals +7 damage (excluding area-of-effect Specials), reduces damage from foe's attacks by 7 (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and grants Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack). |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Ancient Naga are +Res and -Spd. Ancient Naga is built to be a tanky unit with her high defensive stats. Improving her bulk through her Res superboon is ideal to make her excel in her role.
Naga's Spd is her least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane, as it will not change her matchups against both fast foes and slow foes.
We recommend a +Res IV when merging Ancient Naga up to +10 to maximize her overall defensive stats. Res is a superboon, but +Def can also be used if opting for more physical bulk.

Ancient Naga is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Ancient Naga's exclusive weapon Ancient Majesty has built-in dragon effective damage and inflicts Atk/Res-7, 【Frozen】, and 【Guard】 onto the closest foes and any foes within 2 spaces of those foes at the start of each player and enemy phase.
In combat, Ancient Majesty grants Naga up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14 based on the number of allies within 3 rows or 3 columns, bonus true damage equal to 15% of her foe's Atk, and 50% damage reduction piercing.
Ancient Majesty in-combat effects aren't special, but the support it provides is hard to find and gives Naga a useful niche in combat.
The bulk of Ancient Naga's strength comes from her exclusive C skill, Divine God Fang. This skill has built-in Guidance 4 for all movement types, granting superior mobility for her allies.
Divine God Fang also grants Naga and her nearby allies 【Dragon-effective damage】, 【Dragon Shield】, and 【Empathy】 at the start of each phase, and grants Naga Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, +7 true damage, +7 true damage reduction on all of her foe's attacks, and Special cooldown charge +1 per attack during combat.
Most exclusive C skills lack mobility, and for fliers like Ancient Naga, can be detrimental due to being in the C slot and locking them out of Guidance 4 to provide mobility for the team. Divine God Fang has this effect built-in, removing this weakness while also granting useful statuses to Naga and her allies.
As a flying unit, Ancient Naga takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
Ancient Naga takes 1.5x damage from dragon-effective weapons like Divine Mist, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. However, Divine God Fang can remove this weakness if it successfully applies 【Dragon Shield】 to Naga.
