What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Gains additional weapon effects based on number of bonuses on allies ・Special grants boosts to self and allies at start of turn and when it triggers |
Might: 16 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Effective against dragon foes. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 during combat, and also grants effects based on the total value of bonuses on the 3 allies with the highest bonus totals: If ≥ 10, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat. If ≥ 25, grants an additional Atk+5 during combat, and also, if unit deals damage to foe during combat, restores 5 HP to unit. (Triggers even if 0 damage is dealt.) If ≥ 60, if foe initiates combat, unit can counterattack before foe's first attack. |
Cooldown Count = 2 At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants unit Atk/Spd/Def/Res+6 for 1 turn and grants allies within 2 spaces of unit Atk+6 for 1 turn. Boosts Special damage by 35% of unit's Spd. After combat, if unit's Special triggered, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+6 to unit and all allies for 1 turn. (Bonus granted to allies even if unit's HP reaches 0.) |
Unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Spd+5 during combat, but after combat, if unit attacked, deals 5 damage to unit. |
If unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats x 4 (max 40%). If unit's HP ≤ 75% and unit's attack triggers Special, deals +5 damage when Special triggers. |
At start of even-numbered turns, unit can move 1 extra space. (That turn only. Does not stack.) |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Brave Marth are +Spd/-Res. Brave Marth has very high Spd compared to other units and maximizing it is key in fully utilizing his kit. His Res is on the lower end and taking it as a bane will not affect most of his matchups, thus having a Res bane is safe.
When building a fully merged Brave Marth, a +Spd IV is beneficial to fully pump up his Spd stat and ensure he has a leg up on his foes.

This build uses Special Spiral 4 to repeatedly charge Shining Emblem and bypass the foe's damage reduction effects. Spd Smoke 4 provides the damage reduction lost by replacing Spurn in the B slot.

This is a budget build using Marth's base kit and skills available from Divine Codes. We recommend running Distant Counter over Distant Pressure to avoid the recoil damage.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |

SP: 400 | |
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: 3 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Effective against dragon foes. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit during combat and grants effects to unit based on the total value of bonuses on the 3 allies with the highest bonus totals (excluding unit): if ≥ 10, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks, effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks, and effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat; if ≥ 25, grants an additional Atk+5 to unit during combat, and also, if unit deals damage to foe during combat, restores 7 HP to unit (triggers even if 0 damage is dealt); and if ≥ 60 and foe initiates combat, unit can counterattack before foe's first attack. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+X to unit (X = 5 + highest bonus on each stat between unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit; calculates each stat bonus independently) and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 40% during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). :500 :200 |
|
Brave Marth's refined Genesis Falchion increases the healing from 5 HP to 7 HP, grants additional bonus stats, and grants a 40% damage reduction effect on his foe's first attack.
This refine improves Brave Marth's combat potential by providing more in-combat stats, making him an even bigger statball unit, while also making him sturdier with the extra healing and the damage reduction effect.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Brave Marth is a close-range physical attacker. When the effects of the Weapon Triangle are not taken into account, the damage he deals will be equal to his Atk minus the foes's Def. Additionally, he has a skill that allows him to counterattack at any range.
Brave Marth's personal weapon Genesis Falchion provides multiple effects:
It also grants various effects based on the total value of bonuses on the 3 allies with the highest bonus totals remaining on the map:
With the myriad of effects on his weapon alone, Brave Marth can be a dominant force on the battlefield!
Brave Marth's unique Special skill Shining Emblem also provides multiple effects:
In conjunction with Genesis Falchion's accelerated Special trigger, Shining Emblem's cooldown is reduced to one, and can easily be triggered during combat to apply a multitude of buffs to both Marth and his allies!
Brave Marth's A skill Distant Pressure will let him counterattack ranged foes such as bow and tome users. It also grants Marth Spd+5 if he meets the HP check, but deals 5 damage to him after combat. The additional Spd is factored into the damage reduction check of Spurn 3, and will help keep Marth alive despite the recoil damage.
Brave Marth also carries Spurn 3 in his kit. Spurn 3 provides damage reduction based on the difference between the Spd stats of him and his foe. This skill synergizes perfectly with Marth's A skill Distant Pressure; the Spd boost from Distant Pressure aids the Spurn check, and the recoil from Distant Pressure puts him in the HP threshold for the +5 damage effect of Spurn.
Brave Marth also carries Even Tempest 3, which allows him to move an additional space during even-numbered turns. The additional mobility aids in positioning him to apply the buffs of both Genesis Falchion and Shining Emblem.
Brave Marth's Genesis Falchion and Shining Emblem load up on visible buffs to both him and his allies. This leaves his entire team vulnerable to well-placed Panic effects such as Panic Smoke 3, Panic Ploy 3, Aversa's unique tome Aversa's Night, and the Panic Manor structure in Aether Raids.
Be very careful with applying the buffs when these skills are present.
Brave Marth also has a low Res stat of 25. This may look deceiving due to the various buffs granted by his other skills as well as the damage reduction effect of Spurn 3, but it can still be exploited by magic foes to defeat Marth quickly in combat.

Value of Skills | ★★★★★ |
---|
Brave Marth has four premium skills worth inheriting to other units; Distant Counter, Distant Pressure, Spurn 3, and Even Tempest 3. Among these choices, Distant Pressure is the most valuable, as Brave Marth is currently the only hero with this skill (as of August 2021). Spurn 3 and Even Tempest 3 are rare and powerful skills as well, it won't be a waste to use a copy of Brave Marth for these.
Think carefully before foddering off your copy of Brave Marth for any of these skills!
Brave Marth is a Hero who can be pulled from any summon.

Hmmm. If you give him a Rouse 4 skill it negates the panic ploy but you lose the extra step from Tempest. I think it might be worth it

I followed your suggestion and added some other benefits and a good team setup... He probably became one of the most boosted units I've ever had. Thanks for the idea!
