What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon skill boosts Atk/Spd+6 and Atk/Spd/Def/Res equal to half of bonuses already applied to unit k ・Neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks if bonuses ≥ 10 ・Grants self Atk/Spd+6 and Null Panic at the start of the turn |
Might: 14 Range: 2 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Effective against flying foes. If 【Bonus】 is active on unit, grants Atk/Spd+6 and Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = 50% of total bonuses on unit and foe (max: +12), and also if total bonuses on unit and foe ≥ 10, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks. 【Bonus】 All effects that last "for 1 turn" or "that turn only." Includes bonuses granted by a skill like Rally or Hone and positive status effects (extra movement or effects like Dominance). |
Cooldown Count = 2 Treats foe's Def/Res as if reduced by 30% during combat. |
If unit initiates combat, grants Atk+6, Spd+7 during combat. |
Enables 【Canto (Rem.)】. Inflicts Atk/Def-3 on foe during combat. 【Canto (Rem.)】 After combat, unit can move spaces equal to the number of spaces they have not used yet in their previous action according to their movement type. For example, a flying unit who has moved 1 space to attack an opponent, can move 1 spaces after as fliers have 2 spaces of movement. |
At start of turn, if unit is not adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 and 【Null Panic】 to unit for 1 turn. 【Null Panic】 if unit is inflicted with Panic (bonuses converted into penalties), neutralizes the "converts bonuses on target into penalties" effect for 1 turn. (Even though the effect is neutralized, the Panic status remains, and is treated as a Penalty status.) |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |

HP (18) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Atk (9) | ★★★★★ | |
Spd (11) | ★★★★★ | |
Def (6) | ★★★★☆ | |
Res (3) | ★★★☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Ascended Laegjarn are +Spd and -Res. Boosting Ascended Laegjarn's Spd allows her to perform follow-up attacks more easily and prevent enemy follow-up attacks more often at the same time.
Her Res is a dump stat and lowering it further will not change most of her matchups. Thus, -Res is the bane of choice.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Ascended Laegjarn to +10. Her Spd is high enough to compete with the fastest units in the game, thus it should be boosted as much as possible.
As an Ascended Hero, Laegjarn can ascend one of her stats for free without using an Ascendant Floret! We recommend +Spd or +Atk, whichever IV you did not take.

This build maximizes Ascended Laegjarn's Spd and uses Windsweep to prevent enemies from counterattacking her. Flame of Múspell negates the drawbacks of Windsweep, allowing Laegjarn to still attack twice per combat.

This is an Arena build with maximum scoring skills without harming performance. Atk/Spd Catch is the best A skill because it provides the most bonuses compared to other A slots.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Ascended Laegjarn is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Much of her raw power is thanks to her bow.
Ascended Laegjarn's unique bow Flame of Múspell is a loaded weapon with multiple powerful effects.
It accelerates Ascended Laegjarn's Special cooldown trigger by -1 no matter what, and grants other effects during combat dependent on the amount of bonuses Ascended Laegjarn has.
Below is a summary of its effects:
1 | Grants Atk/Spd+6 during combat |
---|---|
2 | Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = 50% of total bonuses on Ascended Laegjarn and her foe (max = 12) |
3 | Neutralizes effects that prevent Ascended Laegjarn's follow-up attacks, if total bonuses on her and her foe ≥ 10 |
With the help of Rouse Atk/Spd 4, Ascended Laegjarn should almost always have at least a bonus count of 12, which should neutralize follow-up negation effects against her!
Ascended Laegjarn also comes with Rouse Atk/Spd 4, a new skill that grants her Atk/Spd+6 and 【Null Panic】at the start of each turn as long as she is not adjacent to an ally.
The Null Panic effect is huge, as it guarantees that the bonuses she has accumulated will stick and count towards Flame of Múspell's condition checks!
Ensure that she is not adjacent to an ally at the start of each turn to guarantee these bonuses are active at all times!
This is after taking out the unfortunate Bow Flier seen above.
Ascended Laegjarn also comes with A/D Far Trace 3, which provides a small Atk/Def-3 debuff to her foes during combat and a 【Canto (Rem.)】 effect post-combat.
The 【Canto (Rem.)】 effect allows Ascended Laegjarn to move spaces post-combat equal to her remaining movement.
Reposition Ascended Laegjarn post-combat to protect her from further engagements as well as ensure she isn't adjacent to an ally to activate Rouse Atk/Spd 4 next turn!
Ascended Laegjarn takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Ridersbane+ or a Wolf weapon like Keen Rauðrwolf+, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take her down.
Ascendant Laegjarn's Res only sits at 22 at Lv.40. This makes it easy for magic users to take her out. Be mindful of Ascended Laegjarn's positioning in relation to magical units that can easily take her out.
Be wary of Micaiah alts as they possess cavalry-effective, magic weapons!

Ascended Laegjarn comes with multiple powerful skills to consider for inheritance - Swift Sparrow 3, A/D Far Trace 3, and Rouse Atk/Spd 4.
Of these skills, Swift Sparrow 3 is more common and easier to replace with similar skills, while A/D Far Trace 3 is rarer and Rouse Atk/Spd 4 is unique to Ascended Laegjarn as of November 2021.
Consider pre-inheriting Rouse Atk/Spd 3 first onto your intended unit, and then use a copy of Ascended Laegjarn to inherit both A/D Far Trace 3 and Rouse Atk/Spd 4 at the same time.
Ascended Laegjarn is a Hero who can be pulled from any summon.
Note: Not currently a featured hero in any Summon events.
