What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Dazzling Breath inflicts debuffs, denies follow-up attacks, and inflicts Guard on enemy units ・Life Unending allows her to survive lethal damage and if triggered, will heal her to full after combat |
Might: 16 Range: 1 Grants Atk+3. If foe initiates combat or if foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 on foe during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack, and also, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.) If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. |
Cooldown Count = 5 At the start of turn 1, grants Special cooldown count-5. When Special triggers, if unit's HP > 1 and foe would reduce unit's HP to 0, unit survives with 1 HP. After combat, if unit's Special triggered, restores 99 HP. (Once per map.) |
Unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range. If foe initiates combat, grants Res+5 to unit during combat. |
If unit's HP ≥ 50% and foe initiates combat, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. |
At start of turn, if unit is within 4 spaces of a foe, inflicts Def/Res-6 on closest foes through their next actions and grants Def/Res+6 to unit for 1 turn. |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (16) | ★★★★☆ | |
Atk (9) | ★★★★★ | |
Spd (6) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Def (7) | ★★★★★ | |
Res (8) | ★★★★★ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Legendary Fae are +Def and -Spd.
She has a Superboon in Def and it rounds out her bulk nicely.
Meanwhile, you can take Spd as her bane since she does not need it for her matchups.
Alternatively, if you want more damage, you can have a +Atk Fae.
We recommend a +Def IV when merging Legendary Fae to 10.
This is for the same reasons above. With a higher Def stat, she will be able to tank a wide variety of enemy units.

This build maximizes Fae's bulk to mitigate as much damage as possible and then heal back up with Life Unending after she has soaked up too much damage.

Fae's base kit works right out of the box as a premiere enemy phase tank. Shield Session is one of the best seals for defensive purposes; you may replace it with another seal if you wish.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Legendary Fae is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
However, because of the effects of Dazzling Breath, she will use the Def stat to calculate damage if it is lower than the foe's Res stat.

As a Legendary Hero, Fae will gain the Earth Blessing when summoned. Additionally, being an Earth type Legendary Hero means that during Earth Seasons, other allies with an Earth Blessing will receive HP+3, and Fae's total stats will be treated as 185. This will lead to a higher Arena Score.
Legendary Fae's debuffs are shown on this Sword Cavalier!
Legendary Fae's Dazzling Breath gives the following effects:
1 | Inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 to an enemy unit if they initiate combat or their HP's ≥ 75%. |
---|---|
2 | Enemy unit cannot make a follow-up attack if the above conditions are met. |
3 | Inflicts the Guard status per attack. |
These debuffs are very powerful in the enemy phase, as enemy units initiating on her will be hit by all 3 effects if the conditions are met, making Legendary Fae a very durable unit.
Let's also not forget that she will inflict more debuffs with her Def/Res Menace and she has even more durability with Dragon's Ire 3!
Fae's Special heals her to full after the effect has been triggered.
Legendary Fae comes with a new Prf Special, Life Unending.
This skill gives her cooldown count-5 on the first turn, which means that it will often be active from the very beginning.
When it triggers, it will grant Fae the Miracle effect, allowing her to survive lethal damage.
On top of that, if it triggered, she will heal to full HP after combat.
This is a mindblowing Special that reinforces her tankiness and provides her with great sustain.
Do note, however, that this can only be used once per map!
Legendary Fae debuts with a new inheritable A skill - Distant Stance.
Similar to Close Reversal, this skill gives the Distant Counter effect and will give Legendary Fae an additional Res+5 when an enemy unit initiates combat.
This makes her great at tanking ranged magic attacks, which in turn will allow her to inflict the debuffs from her weapon.
Since many of Legendary Fae's effects are active during the enemy phase, this means that she won't have access to them during the player phase.
Be careful when attacking with her, as she does not get her guaranteed follow-up attack nor her damage reduction, making her more vulnerable.
Fae takes 1.5x damage from dragon-effective weapons like Sealed Falchion or Ífingr, and one blow from these types of weapons is sure to take her down.
Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
Heroes with Effective Skills
Ayra | Legendary Eliwood | Brave Lucina | Legendary Azura |
Peony | Brave Dimitri | New Year Peony | Flayn |
Legendary Fae can fit in a wide variety of teams as she can mostly take care of herself.
She can be paired with those that can boost his firepower even more, like Legendary Eliwood's Bonus Doubler effect on his Ardent Durandal or any of the dancers above.
Brave Lucina and Flayn are excellent supports for Legendary Fae - Flayn gives damage reduction through her weapon, while Brvae Lucina gives Special acceleration.
Make Brave Lucina Fae's Support Partner, with Flayn being another member of the team to take advantage of both their kits to make the little dragon even sturdier.
Brave Hector | Naga | Brave Ike | Julia |
Thrasir | Deirdre | Legendary Edelgard | Brave Edelgard |
As a dragon, Legendary Fae is weak to weapons that are effective against dragons.
Be mindful, as well, of units that have Ruptured Sky. They have the potential to one shot her because of the damage that Ruptured Sky can bring.
Because of Fae's poor Spd, good counters are units that use Null Follow-Up 3 like Brave Ike.
This skill allows them to perform follow-up attacks during their player phase, while nullifying Fae's follow-up attacks in the enemy phase.
These units are those that can do well in the enemy phase, like Brave Edelgard, Legendary Edelgard, and Brave Hector.
Brave Edelgard can reduce Fae's damage by 80% if she attacks her, as well as debuffing her with her weapon.
Brave Hector, meanwhile, has his own sheer bulk that Fae will have to get through, not to mention his weapon refine that not only debuffs her, but also prevents her from making follow up attacks.
Hector himself can make him even bulkier with Ostian Counter.

---|
Legendary Fae's Distant Stance, Dragon's Ire 3, and Def/Res Menace slots are all very good fodder, though you won't be able to inherit all skills from one copy.
We recommend either building her if you manage to pull one or picking one of her skills to fodder off to another unit.
Legendary Fae is a limited time Hero who can be pulled from a Legendary Hero Summoning event. They do not appear in regular summons.
Note: Not currently a featured hero in any Summon events.
