What Kind of Character Are They? ・Refined Dazzling Breath grants Fae Guard, Bulwark, true damage, true damage reduction and inflicts stat penalties, bonus neutralization, and Scowl onto her foes.
・Life Unending II is pre-charged on turn one and grants Fae a Miracle effect resetting every 2 turns, full restore upon triggering, and damage reflection in combat.

Legendary Fae Skills at 5★

Might: 16 Range: 1
Grants Atk+3. If foe initiates combat or if foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 on foe during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack, and also, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.) If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res.

Cooldown Count = 5
At the start of turn 1, grants Special cooldown count-5 to unit.
When Special triggers, if unit's HP > 1 and foe would reduce unit's HP to 0, unit survives with 1 HP.
Reduces damage from foe's first attack by 40% during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and unit's next attack deals damage = total damage reduced from foe's first attack (by any source, including other skills; resets at end of combat).
After combat, if unit's Special triggered, restores 99 HP (neutralizes the effects of 【Deep Wounds】 and will not trigger again for 2 turns after triggering).

Unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range. If foe initiates combat, grants Res+5 to unit during combat.

If foe initiates combat or if unit's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat, inflicts Atk/Def/Res-X on foe (X = 4 + the greater of the difference between Def stats or difference between Res stats (unit's Def/Res minus foe's Def/Res); max 11; if either of unit's stats < foe's stat, difference is treated as 0), unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack, grants Special cooldown count-1 to unit before foe's first attack, and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials).

At start of turn, if unit is within 4 spaces of a foe, inflicts Def/Res-6 on closest foes through their next actions and grants Def/Res+6 to unit for 1 turn.

Legendary Fae Best IVs

Recommended IVs

Stat Superboon/Superbane IV Recommendation
HP (16) Normal HP ★★★★☆
Atk (9) Attack Bane ★★★★★
Spd (6) Spd Bane ★★★☆☆
Def (7) Def Boon ★★★★★
Res (8) Res Bane ★★★★★

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws

See the IV Checker for All Units Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Res/-Spd

The best IVs for Legendary Fae are +Res and -Spd.

Boosting Res improves Legendary Fae's true damage and true damage reduction effects from refined Dazzling Breath, making it the best stat to invest into.

Meanwhile, you can take Spd as her bane since she does not need it for her matchups.

Alternatively, if you want more damage, you can have a +Atk Fae.

+Res for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Res IV when merging Legendary Fae to 10.

This is for the same reasons above. With a higher Res stat, she will be able to tank a wide variety of enemy units.

Legendary Fae Best Weapon Refine

Effect of Legendary Fae's Refined Weapon

Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type)
SP: 400
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: 3
Grants Atk+3.
If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res.
Inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 on foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit and neutralizes those foes' bonuses (from skills like Fortify, Rally, etc.) during combat.
If foe initiates combat or if foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 on foe, foe cannot make a follow-up attack, deals damage = 20% of unit's Res (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack).
Foes with Range = 1 cannot move through spaces adjacent to unit (does not affect foes with Pass skills).
Foes with Range = 2 cannot move through spaces within 2 spaces of unit (does not affect foes with Pass skills).
If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 on foe and reduces damage from foe's attacks by 20% of unit's Res during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and also, if foe's attack can trigger foe's Special and unit's Res ≥ foe's Res+5, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first attack during combat (cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown).
Arena Medal:500 Divine Dew:200

We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Dazzling Breath

Refined Dazzling Breath grants Fae a Guard effect, a Bulwark effect, true damage and true damage reduction equal to 20% of her Res, inflicts bonus neutralization and Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 onto foes within 3 rows or 3 columns, and inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-10, follow-up denial, and a Scowl effect onto her foe in combat.

Refined Dazzling Breath is a great defensive weapon, heavily weakening Legendary Fae's foe in combat while also weakening foes within 3 rows or 3 columns for her allies to take advantage of.

Legendary Fae is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

However, because of the effects of Dazzling Breath, she will use the Def stat to calculate damage if it is lower than the foe's Res stat and if the foe is a ranged unit.

Legendary Fae Strengths

Refined Dazzling Breath is a great defensive weapon

Legendary Fae Debuffs Fire Emblem Heroes FEH.PNG

Legendary Fae's debuffs are shown on this Sword Cavalier!

When refined, Legendary Fae's exclusive weapon Dazzling Breath grants Fae a Guard effect, a Bulwark effect, true damage and true damage reduction equal to 20% of her Res, inflicts bonus neutralization and Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 onto foes within 3 rows or 3 columns, and inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-10, follow-up denial, and a Scowl effect onto her foe in combat.

Refined Dazzling Breath is a great defensive weapon, heavily weakening Legendary Fae's foe in combat while also weakening foes within 3 rows or 3 columns for her allies to take advantage of.

Special gives her Miracle and heals her to full!

Legendary Fae Special Effect Fire Emblem Heroes FEH.PNG

Fae's Special heals her to full after the effect has been triggered.

Legendary Fae comes with a new remixed exclusive Special, Life Unending II.

At the start of turn one, Life Unending II is precharged completely, making it available right away.

Life Unending II grants Legendary Fae a Miracle effect, allowing her to survive combat once as long as she has more than 1 HP. After combat, Life Unending II restores Fae's HP completely and is put on a 2 turn cooldown, preventing it from triggering again until after 2 turns have passed.

Life Unending II also passively grants Legendary Fae 40% damage reduction on her foe's first attack and reflects the reduced damage back to her foe on her next attack.

New A skill puts a spin on Distant Counter

Legendary Fae debuts with a new inheritable A skill - Distant Stance.

Similar to Close Reversal, this skill gives the Distant Counter effect and will give Legendary Fae an additional Res+5 when an enemy unit initiates combat.

This makes her great at tanking ranged magic attacks, which in turn will allow her to inflict the debuffs from her weapon.

Legendary Fae Weaknesses

Poor player phase

Since many of Legendary Fae's effects are active during the enemy phase, this means that she won't have access to them during the player phase.

Be careful when attacking with her, as she does not get her guaranteed follow-up attack nor her damage reduction, making her more vulnerable.

Weak to Dragon Effective Weapons

Fae takes 1.5x damage from dragon-effective weapons like Sealed Falchion or Ífingr, and one blow from these types of weapons is sure to take her down.

Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Inheriting Distant Stance, Dragon's Scales, or Def/Res Menace

Legendary Fae's Distant Stance, Dragon's Scales, and Def/Res Menace slots are all very good fodder, though you won't be able to inherit all skills from one copy.

We recommend either building her if you manage to pull one or picking one of her skills to fodder off to another unit.

With the flat DR & DMG in her weapon refine, i think the recommended boon should be reconsidered. +Res is probably the best, IMO, since it can accomplish both of the positives mentioned in the +Def & +Atk recommendations.
