Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (18) | ★★☆☆☆ | |
Atk (17) | ★★★★★ | |
Spd (14) | ★★★★☆ | |
Def (5) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Res (4) | ★★☆☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Ninja Hana will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Ninja Hana are +Atk and -Res. Since her weapon can nail second strikes, and her kit is designed to make it easy for her to nail quad-attacks, getting a +Atk IV would be best in significantly increasing her damage. Her Res is of less importance so it can be safely taken as her bane.
We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Ninja Hana to 10. This is for the same reasons as above and at this point, she can take out a lot of units out even with just 2 strikes. If you prefer nailing quad-attacks, you can go for a +Spd IV instead. It is a superboon for Ninja Hana, so that is another reason to take it over +Atk. A +Spd IV is also justified if you will use another weapon that does not provide the +4 Spd.

A very high budget build that takes advantage of Hana's extreme player phase potential! Expect lots of one-sided fights with this build once Desperation 3 is online!

Glimmer

Wrath 3

|
A mainly player phase build that focuses on maximizing the potential of Ninja Masakari+. Be careful as this build is very fragile in the enemy phase because of Life and Death 3. You will also find yourself staying in low HP ranges because of Wrath 3. When initiating, make sure the foe will be taken out and Hana will not be in range of another foe because odds are, she will be KO'ed!

This build sports a great balance of offense and defense. 2 Swift Sparrows are enough to boost her already great Atk/Spd levels to elite ranges and Close Call 3 and Rouse Atk/Def 3 provide her with the defenses and escape mechanism that will be enough for her survival. Spurn 3

A build that makes Ninja Hana a pseudo-tank because of her insane speed. With Distant Dart and Spurn, she will be able to reduce the damage she takes from all enemy units and deal damage back.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Ninja Hana is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Ninja Masakari+ is similar to a Brave weapon in the sense that it allows its user to score 2 strikes in one attack if they initiate damage. This is an extra attack and not a follow-up attack so when you are able to get an outspeed, Ninja Hana can land 4 strikes in one action. This makes her a very powerful player phase attacker. Another key difference between her weapon and Brave weapons is that Ninja Masakari+ grants +4 Spd unlike Brave weapons that inflict a Spd penalty. This makes scoring quad-attacks very easy for Hana.
Wrath 3 speeds-up Ninja Hana's special cooldown and grants +10 pure damage to her whenever her special is activated. If you stick with Hana's native special, Glimmer, you will be able to shred through most enemies that does not have an abnormally high Def stat. This synergizes well with Ninja Hana's play style and kit as it requires her to stack a lot of Spd. Having a high Spd means you score follow-up attacks more often and both those attacks help in activating a Wrath-charged Glimmer.
Ninja Hana's base Spd on her base kit because of Ninja Masakari+ and Life and Death 3. This makes it very easy for her to score follow-up attacks on opponents. Utilize her high Spd and try to aim for quad-attacks to rapidly activate Wrath-charged Glimmers!
Ninja Hana's defensive stats are not very high and considering that Ninja Masakari+ and Life and Death 3 inflicts a total of -9 Def/Res to her, she is very vulnerable to strong attacks. Losing her in battle would be detrimental to your team as she provides lots of knock-out potential on a wide range of units. Use strategy to position her away from units that can easily take her out.

Ninja Hana can be used to inherit the skill Ninja Masakari+. However, you can only acquire Ninja Hana from Tempest Trials or from using Heroic Grails, so think carefully before foddering her off.
She is also fairly powerful for a free unit if you choose to invest in her. Keep this in mind when foddering her off.
Ninja Hana is a limited time Hero who can be obtained as a reward for your score in the Tempest Trials. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.
