Eternal Pyre Tower Entrance Location

The area above is an excellent spot to manually mine Sulfur due to its proximity to the Eternal Pyre Tower Entrance fast-travel point. From your base, you can fast-travel to this location and mine the 8 Sulfur nodes, then return to your base to deposit it in your storage.
With the abundance of Sulfur nodes in this area, this is one of the best spots where you can put a Palbox and establish a base for mining.

This area has 7 Sulfur nodes near each other and 4 more in the surrounding area. This is not a spot with a nearby fast-travel point, so it's best used when you can build a base here for your Pals to mine the 7 Sulfur nodes or teleport here to mine all 11 Sulfur nodes.
If you're building a base here, take precautions to prevent your pals from walking on lava by building walls, blocking the other sulfur nodes, or placing your structures carefully.

This Sulfur farming spot has 8 nodes scattered around, so it may not be possible for a base to contain all of them. But, this Sulfur farming location is still a great spot to manually mine them!
Mount Obsidian Midpoint Location

This Sulfur farming spot has 4 nodes close to each other. In addition, it also has a Volcanic Cavern nearby where you can also mine 2 to 4 more Sulfur nodes!

This location has 5 Sulfur nodes you can manually mine due to its fairly close proximity to a fast travel point. There's a couple more Sulfur and Ore nodes in the surrounding area.

Starting from the Sakurajima update, it's possible to build a Sulfur Mine in your base, reducing the need to set up dedicated mining bases.
Mine From Yellow Rocks
You can mine Sulfur from yellow Sulfur boulders. There are a lot of these boulders in the Desert and Volcanic regions of Palworld. These boulders can also be found in dungeons.
Increase Carrying Capacity
Other than increasing your Weight stat, adding a Cattiva to your party allows you to increase your carrying capacity by 50 due to its Partner Skill. So, if your only goal is to mine Sulfur, replace some of your Pals for a Cattiva!

Use Digtoise to Mine Sulfur Easier
Digtoise's Partner Skill, Drill Crusher, is an efficient skill to use to get Sulfur. You can use this skill to mine the yellow boulders more easily, which will allow you to quickly farm for this material.

Do note that in order to unlock Drill Crusher, you need to craft the Digtoise's Headband which can be unlocked when you are level 19.
How to Farm Sulfur
Sulfur is a material that can be mined in Palworld. It is one of the materials required to create Gunpowder. So, if you are using Guns, then farming Sulfur to eventually create ammos is viable!

- Set Up a Base in an Area with Sulfur
- Build the Necessary Technologies
- Assign the Necessary Pals
- Bring Out Mining Pals
- Build a Wall Around the Base
Catch or Breed Mining Pals
The first step to creating a Sulfur farm in Palworld is to catch or breed Mining Pals to automate mining Sulfur. Do remember that the higher the level of a Pal's Mining stat, the faster they are at mining Sulfur.
In the late game of Palworld, the Digtoise is a Pal that is readily available compared to the other top-tier Mining Pals. So, we recommend catching a bunch of Digtoise!
Set Up a Base in an Area with Sulfur
After catching Mining Pals, the next step is to set up a base in an area where Sulfur is abundant. In the late game, the Volcano biome has a lot of Sulfur boulders.
In the early to mid game, you can set up a base in the Desert biome can also be done since there are some Sulfur boulders there!

Once you place a Palbox on an area where Sulfur boulders are present, you now have to build the technologies needed to maintain the Work Condition and automate the process of mining Sulfur.
The number of Straw Pal Beds needed depends on the amount of Pals you will add to your base. For the Feed Box and Berry Plantation, one for each is enough for everyone to use. Lastly, you only need a single Wooden Chest if you are only planning to store Sulfur inside it.

If you are level 30, building a technology called Pickaxe and Helmet can be done to passively boost the work speed of any task that requires Mining. Having one in your base will allow your Mining Pals to mine Sulfur much faster!
Assign the Necessary Pals
After building all the Technologies needed for your Sulfur Farm, the next step is to assign the Pals needed to plant and gather Berries, water them, and pick up anything that is on the ground.
Assign a Tanzee
The Tanzee is a great Pal to assign for Planting and Gathering since it can do both. It can also transport the Berries to the Feed Box due to it having the Work Suitability called Transporting.
More importantly, the Tanzee can pick up the Sulfur to be mined by your Mining Pals and put it inside your Wooden Chest. With some Tanzees in your base, you do not need to assign other Transporting Pals anymore, allowing you to add more Mining Pals!

Assign a Watering Pal
For the Berry Plantation to work, a Pal that has the Work Suitability called Watering is needed. With this, you can assign any Watering Pal to the Sulfur farm if you do not have the top-tier ones yet.

As much as possible, try to use Fire element Pals in your base if you build it in an area near lava. Non-Fire element Pals take damage if they get too close to lava, which can impact your base's productivity.

Bring Out Mining Pals
Then, for the Sulfur farm to work is to finally bring out the Mining Pals you've caught or bred. As you put them in your base, they will automatically mine the Sulfur within the base's vicinity. So, you do not need to fix assign them to Sulfur boulders!
Build a Wall Around the Base
The last step is to surround your base with Walls especially if your Sulfur farm is located in an area where wild Pals usually spawn. By doing this, the Pals inside your base will not get interrupted when doing their specific tasks.
