Milk drops from a Mozzarina. So, the locations pinned above are possible spots where a Mozzarina may appear throughout the day. When farming Milk, we recommend capturing a bunch of Mozzarinas to put inside a Ranch rather than defeating them!

Buy From Wandering Merchants
A quick way to get Milk in Palworld is to buy them for 50 Gold each from Wandering Merchants located in settlements.
The closest one to the Plateau of Beginnings is the one residing in the Small Settlement, which can be found in the coordinates, (73, -485).
If the Wandering Merchant is not present in a certain settlement, it indicates that he is currently on the move and will likely pass by your base.
How to Farm Milk
Milk is a consumable that can be consumed on its own to remove hunger. However, it is also an ingredient of several foods in Palworld. Cake is one of them and it is used when breeding Pals!
Unlock the Ranch

The first step to creating a Milk farm in Palworld is to unlock the Technology called Ranch and then build one in your base. To unlock it, you have to be level 5 first!
If you already have a base and do not have the space to accommodate several Mozzarinas, we recommend building another one at a different location to maximize the amount of Milk you can produce!
Catch Mozzarinas
Mozzarina is the only Pal that can produce Milk due to its Milk Maker Partner Skill. As shown in the image above, the area highlighted in yellow is considered as the Mozzarina's habitat. Meaning, you can encounter a Mozzarina within that area.
Assign Mozzarinas to the Ranch
Once you have some Mozzarinas, you can start farming Milk by going back to your base and then fix assigning them to the Ranch. To do this, lift a Mozzarina using the F Key on the keyboard and throw it to the Ranch using the same key!
After some time, the Mozzarinas will start dropping some Milk on the ground. With this, you can pick them up or have a Transporting Pal store them in a nearby storage container.
Manage Food Expiration
It is worth noting that Milk gets spoiled. So, you need to have a container such as a Cooler Box or a Refrigerator in your base for the Milk to never expire!
Assign Mozzarinas With Passive Skills
To increase the production of Milk, you should assign Mozzarinas whose Passive Skills improve Work Speed. Artisan is the ideal one to have for your Mozzarinas since it increases Work Speed by 50%!
Improve Working Condition
It is worth noting that a proper working condition needs to be maintained for your Mozzarinas to continuously produce Milk. With this, you at least need to create Straw Pal Beds, a Berry Plantation, and a Feed Box for your Mozzarinas to use.
Then, you also need to assign Pals with the correct Work Suitability for the listed Technologies to properly function!

Cakes are Used for Breeding
Cake is a food in Palworld that is required for breeding. Without enough Cake, it will be impossible for your Pals to hatch an Egg. With this in mind, Milk and the other ingredients to bake a Cake need to be farmed to have a continuous supply of it.
