How to Fix Palworld Black Screen on Launch
Fixed on Latest Update for Both Platforms
The devs have officially announced in their Discord server that the black screen bug has been fixed after rolling out the latest update for both Xbox and PC users.
Wait for 10 Minutes
Many users have reported that the game gets stuck on a black screen after launching. The game's developers, Pocketpair, have acknowledged the issue and recommended a solution as they look into it.
To fix Palworld's black screen issue, the developers have suggested waiting for 10 minutes as there is an unexpected issue where the game idles on launch for 10 minutes before continuing. The devs posted the notice in the Official Pocketpair Discord Server.

Possible Fix for Steam Players
For those who are playing Palworld on Steam, this Reddit post suggests trying the following steps:
- From Steam, open Palworld's file location.
- Right click the Palworld game launcher, and select Properties.
- Go to Compatibility.
- Check Disable fullscreen optimizations.
- Select Run as administrator.

Multiplayer Bug Preventing World Access
If you've already created a World in Palworld but are having trouble accessing it again, this may be caused by multiplayer issues. Your issue may be resolved if you turn off multiplayer for that particular world.
You can do this by selecting your World and then going to Change World Settings. Switch Multiplayer to Off.
If the multiplayer setting isn't showing up, check your internet connection. A weak or unstable internet connection may also be preventing you from opening your multiplayer World.
