FF7 Rebirth - Vincent asking who your foe is

The party will first meet Vincent in Shinra Manor during Chapter 11: The Long Shadow of Shinra. Somewhere during the conversation, Vincent will ask them who their foe is. Your answer here will not affect future events aside from the following dialogue lines.

Joins as a Companion but Not Playable

Later on in the chapter as you return to Cid and the Tiny Bronco, Vincent will appear again and decide to join you on your next destination. However, he will only be a story companion and not an actual party member.

Vincent locked himself in a coffin below Shinra Manor after what happened to atone for his sins until Cloud and his friends stumble upon the coffin.

He also appeared in the latest FF7 Remake Trailer, so it's clear that he will play an important role in the story despite not being a playable character.
