FF7 Rebirth
Available Platforms: Is FF7 Rebirth Available on PC and PS4?
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth) has been confirmed to be released in Winter 2023 for the PS5. Learn more about platform availability for Rebirth, as well as whether Rebirth will be available for the Nintendo Switch or Xbox Consoles!

Currently A PS5 Exclusive Title
FF7 Rebirth is currently scheduled to be available exclusively on the PS5. However, there may be a chance that the title will eventually be available to play on multiple platforms like its predecessor, Final Fantasy Remake.
Can be Enjoyed as a Stand-Alone Title
Despite being the second part of the modern FF7 trilogy, Creative Director Tetsuya Nomura has detailed that the game is currently designed to be enjoyable, even without previous knowledge of Final Fantasy VII.
Not Available for the PS4
Despite its predecessor being available for both the PS4 and PS5, FF7 Rebirth will only be playable on the PS5. Players who enjoyed the previous entry might have to buy the newer console.
Potential PC Release at a Later Date
Similar to the PS4, FF7 Rebirth is currently not planned to be released on the PC.
PC Release Date Might Happen Late 2025
If FF7 Rebirth follows a similar release schedule employed by FF7 Remake, then it is possible that the game might release on late 2025.
Additionally, the game might release on both Epic Games Store and Steam if it adheres to the same release format used by FF7 Remake.
Release for Xbox Consoles has Not Been Confirmed
Unfortunately, there has been no official statement at this time that FF7 Rebirth will come to Xbox consoles. However the Crisis Core remake, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is scheduled to be released for the X Box Series consoles, so a future is still possible.
Unlikely to Be Released for the Nintendo Switch
Square Enix has made no announcement regarding bringing FF7 Rebirth to the Switch. Similar to the Xbox Series consoles, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is scheduled to be released for the Nintendo Switch in the Winter of 2022, so the possibility of a future release on the system remains.
