How to Get Hel's Tongue
Obtained in Twin Offerings Overlook

Hel's Tongue can be acquired atop the Twin Offerings Overlook in Shatterscarp. In the area where you fight the bounty Chieftain Grithin, head up the slope to arrive at the Ancient Memory. Pick up the unique weapon on the ground surrounded by consumables.

Soul Obliteration for Better Essence Regeneration

Soul Obliteration is a great choice, especially for Spellblade builds, of which this Great Sword was made for. Finishing off enemies with this sword will give even more Essence for continuous spell and ability usage.
Corrupting Parry is not as useful for a Spellblade focus. The elemental damage bonus from the parry buff isn’t particularly strong, and since the sword deals plenty Elemental damage on its own with its normal attacks, and the Essence sustain is more useful to cast more powerful spells.

| Nearly three centuries ago during one of Rauatai's many minor conquests, the berserker Kongata wielded this razor-sharp greatsword in battle for her ranga nui. Victory after victory did she earn as countless opponents fell to her passionate rage and cold battle-focus alike. After months of fighting, the conquest was successful as Rauatai's borders grew once more. Kongata enjoyed a few weeks of peace with her reputation as a fearsome war hero ensuring that she would never want for drink. This peace quickly turned into boredome, however. The thrill of the fight was all Kongata really knew, and all that she truly yearned for. With a handful of like-minded warriors, Kongata left her homeland behind to work as a mercenary in foreign lands until her inevitably violent death. | |
