Obtained in Pargrun Cache at Shatterscarp

Avowed - Skald

Skald's Gauntlets are obtained inside a hidden room in Pargrun Cache at Shatterscarp.

At the second floor of Pargrun Cache, set the levers in the Up, Down, Down, Up positions. Enter the cell and press the switch at the top left of the cabinet to reveal a hidden room. Collect Skald's Gauntlets from the lootbox inside.

How to Open the Hidden Room in Pargrun Cache

Skald's Gauntlets Walkthrough

Jump on Wooden Beam
Upon entering Pargrun Cache, jump down the wooden beam and follow the path forward.

Destroy Metal Door
Break the metal door with ice spells such as Chill Blades or with the Eye of Rymgand.

Four Lever Puzzle
Enter the room and head to the four levers. Set the levers to these positions: Up, Down, Down, Up.

Enter the opened room and press the switch at the top left of the cabinet. Enter the hidden room, left of the cabinet, and collect Skald's Gauntlets from the lootbox.

Description
While many chanters prefer to empower their allies and hinder their enemies from the back line, skalds are an exception to the rule. They prefer to wade into the melee, shouting their defiance in the faces of their enemies. The palms of these brigandine gauntlets are made from shark skin, providing the wearer with a much steadier grip on their weapons and allowing them to swing larger weapons with more reckless force than they would have been able to otherwise.
