Purchased from Merylin
Speak to Merilyn in Paradis at Dawnshore to access the Might Through Magic shop. Purchase Beothel's Grimoire from the selection to acquire it. It can be bought for 450 Skeyt.

Cost: 25 Essence Cooldown: 10 seconds Summons a staff of negative energy for 30 seconds that restores Essence to the wielder with every strike. |
 Arcane Veil
|
Cost: 10 Essence Cooldown: 15 seconds Invokes a powerful arcane shield for 20 seconds that makes your spell casting Uninterruptable and increases your Damage Reduction by 25%. |
 Blizzard
|
Cost: 50 Essence Cooldown: 15 seconds Conjures a violent storm of ice and snow, pummeling nearby enemies with raining ice and Frost Accumulation. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 1 |
Equip Grimoires in the off-hand slot to gain access to its innate abilities. Spells unlocked within the Wizard tree increase in potency when used via a Grimoire.
Note that some spells require the Grimoire Mastery passive at a certain rank to use.

| Beothel was one of the earlier apprentices of the archmage Arkemyr, though his apprenticeship was cut short due to his difficult temper and penchant for insubordination. When his tutelage under Arkemyr ended, Beothel joined the military and became a terror on the battlefield, combining his defensive and battlefield-controlling magics with military prowess. Though he may have gone on to have a rich and notable military career, Beothel met an early end in battle when a stray arrow cut his life short. | |
