How to Unlock Memo Beacon
Unlock the Memo Becon Technology Node
To be able to build the Memo Beacon, players need to unlock the Memo Becon Technology Node in the AIC Planning Interface. This node can be found as part of the Exploration Tree, in the Basic II Tier.

To craft a Memo Beacon, you will need Amethyst Parts, which can be made by refining Amethyst Ore and passing the resulting Amethyst Fiber through a Fitting Unit.

Craft Memo Beacons
You must first craft Memo Beacons using 10 Amethyst Parts. This can be done while inside any of your AIC areas.
Use Memo Beacon Through Bag or AIC Mode
Once you have crafted Memo Beacons, you can start placing them. You can do this by opening your Backpack, selecting the Memo Beacon, then selecting Place. Alternatively, you can also switch to AIC Mode, select the Memo Beacon under the Miscellaneous tab, then selecting Place.
Which Items to Keep In Your Backpack
Input Your Memo Beacon's Message
After trying to place a Memo Beacon, you will be asked to input your Memo Beacon's message. While in this menu, you can select up to three pre-made messages to string together what you are trying to say. It is important to note that you cannot input custom messages onto a Memo Beacon.
Place Them In The Overworld
Once you have confirmed your Memo Beacon's message, you can then place them in the overworld. Memo Beacons take up a 1x1 space, and can be rotated like other AIC Facilities. Once you are satisfied with its orientation and location, you can then place the beacon down.
