How to Play Alloy Smelt

Enter the Sonoro Sphere

Assemble Your Team

Every Rift comes with stage buffs that will help you defeat enemies more efficiently, so build your team to correspond with the Rift's upgrade effect.

Earn Points by Defeating Enemies

In Alloy Smelt, you have to earn a total of 2,000 points within the 2-minute time limit that you are given in order to complete the rifts.

Do note that when computing total points for the event, it will take your highest points achieved across all rifts and base it on the sum of that.

Killing Standard enemies will grant you50 points per enemy of that class defeated, while Elite enemies will grant you 100 points per enemy of that class defeated.

Increase Difficulty for More Points

You may choose to increase the difficulty in the rifts to reap bigger points, though do note that the recommended character level increases in increments of 10 per difficulty, and trial Resonators only remain at Character Level 60.

Rifts Unlock After a Few Days

Other rifts will become available after waiting for a few days, giving you the same challenges as the previous rifts, and granting you varying rift upgrades.

Rift I: Breath Rift

Rift Upgrade
・Concerto Energy of Aero and Spectro Resonators is automatically restored. ・When Aero Resonators release Concerto Energy, a Whirlwind will be summoned. ・When Spectro Resonators release Concerto Skill, AOE Spectro DMG will be dealt and the enemies will be marked within a certain range. An explosion will be triggered when the marked enemies take damage, dealing additional damage.

Breath Rift is the first stage in Alloy Smelt. Assemble your team around the recommended elements in order to trigger rift upgrade effects and rack up points faster.

The trial characters present for this team are already a solid composition as is, but you can choose to replace Yangyang with Mortefi, Jianxin, or the Spectro Rover as a Sub-DPS and take advantage of the stage effects with Jiyan as your main DPS and Verina as support.

Rift II: Freezing Rift

・Concerto Energy of Glacio and Havoc Resonators is automatically restored. ・When Glacio Resonators release Concerto Skill, AOE Freezing will be caused and the enemies will be marked within a certain range. When the marked enemies take damage, deals additional Glacio DMG. ・When Havoc Resonators release Concerto Skill, explosions will be triggered 6 times around them, dealing Havoc DMG.

Freezing Rift is the second stage in Alloy Smelt. Assemble your team around the recommended elements in order to trigger rift upgrade effects and rack up points faster.

You may choose to assemble your team with all the trial characters presented as they are an all-DPS team, but we also recommend inserting Baizhi into the team, or Verina if you have her, to buff your DPS' attacks with their support skills.

Rift III: Scorching Rift

・Concerto Energy of Fusion and Electro Resonators is automatically restored. ・When Fusion Resonators release Concerto Skill, a Lava Pillar will be generated at the enemy's location, dealing Fusion DMG. ・When Electro Resonators release Concerto Skill, 3 streaks of lightning will be summoned around them, dealing Electro DMG.

Scorching Rift is the Third stage in Alloy Smelt. Assemble your team around the recommended elements in order to trigger rift upgrade effects and rack up points faster.

Assembling your team with the trial characters for this rift is a good choice, although always build your team with Yinlin in mind as she deals exceptional AOE damage and boosts Electro DMG with her outro skill which will be very helpful if you have Calcharo as your main DPS instead of Encore.

You can swap out Chixia for a support character like Baizhi or Verina; if you're looking for a more optimal Sub-DPS than Chixia, you can insert Mortefi into the team.

Rift IV: Rapido Rift

Rift Upgrade
・Resonators' Concerto Energy restoration speed is increased. ・After Resonators release Intro Skills, Resonance Energy will be restored to the fullest and Resonance Liberation's DMG will be increased by 225%.
Recommended Characters

Rapido Rift is the fourth stage in Alloy Smelt. Take advantage of the increased Concerto Energy buildup and frequently switch between characters when their icons flash white to trigger Intro Skills that will immediately charge up your selected character's Resonance Liberation and increase its damage dealt.

Assembling your team with the provided trial characters is already good enough, though if you want a more optimized team, we recommend switching out Chixia for a support like Baizhi or Verina that increases other characters' all-type damage dealt, or Jianxin whose outro skill buffs the next character's Resonance Liberation damage.

If you are able, you can also opt to replace Sanhua with a main DPS like Calcharo or Jiyan with Yinlin as the tentative Sub-DPS.

Rift V: Striking Rift

Rift Upgrade
・Resonators' Concerto Energy restoration speed is increased. ・After Resonators release Intro Skills, Crit. Rate is increased by 100% and Crit. DMG is increased by 10%. The effect of Crit. DMG boost can stack up to 20 times.
Recommended Characters

Striking Rift is the fifth stage in Alloy Smelt. Like the rift before this, make use of character Intro Skills from faster Concerto Energy regeneration and constantly switch between characters in order to stack up on Crit. DMG, netting you a total of 200% Crit. DMG increase on maximum.

Assembling your team based off of the trial characters is already a solid choice, as Mortefi's Outro Skill interplay with Jiyan's usage of Heavy Attacks make for a great combo, or choose to replace your main DPS with the Rover (Havoc). You may also consider replacing Yangyang with support characters such as Baizhi or Verina to scale your main DPS' all-type damage dealt.

Above all else, you may choose to use your best characters or team composition for this stage with the appropriate builds and skill upgrades to clear this stage with ease.

Rift VI: Intimidating Rift

Rift Upgrade
Echo Skill DMG is increased. Echo Skill CD is reduced by 100% for 8 seconds after Resonators release Resonance Liberation.
Recommended Characters

Intimidating Rift is the sixth stage in Alloy Smelt. As this Rift mainly focuses on your Echo Skill, you are free to use the trial characters offered for this stage.

Yinlin will have the Tempest Mephis equipped, while Sanhua and Aalto have the Lampylumen Myriad and Mourning Aix respectively. A great addition to the team would be Rover (Havoc) and Danjin replacing Aalto and Sanhua, both with the Dreamless Echo equipped.

You may choose to assemble your best team for this rift under your discretion, though make sure that they are equipped with the appropriate 4-cost Echoes that boost their damage dealt.

Rift VII: Deafening Rift

Rift Upgrade
・Echo Skill DMG is increased by 50% and Heavy Attack's DMG is increased by 30%. ・Echo Skill CD is reduced by 50% after Resonators perform Heavy Attacks.
Recommended Characters

Deafening Rift is the fourth stage in Alloy Smelt. In this rift, Echo Skill and Heavy Attack Damage are buffed, and your Echo Skill's Cooldown will be reduced after its weilder performs a Heavy Attack.

Assemble your best team for this rift, with characters that frequently use Heavy Attacks in mind, as they lower the CD of their Echo Skill. Be sure to keep Mortefi in the party as his Outro Skill buffs the next character's Heavy Attack DMG and insert supports like Baizhi or Verina at your discretion for further Damage buffs.

If you will be replacing Jiyan for Calcharo as Main DPS, we recommend swapping out Sanhua for Yinlin as her Outro Skill also provides an Electro DMG boost, enhancing Calcharo's attacks.

Rift VIII: Furious Rift

Rift Upgrade
・Echo Skill CD is reduced by 50%. ・Resonance Skill's Crit. Rate and Heavy Attack's Crit. Rate are increased by 100% and Crit. DMG is increased by 30% for 3 seconds after Resonators release Echo Skill. ・The effect of Crit DMG boost can stack up to 15 times.
Recommended Characters

Furious Rift is the fourth stage in Alloy Smelt. Your Resonance Skill and Heavy Attack's Crit Rate and Crit DMG will be buffed for 3 seconds after any character releases their Echo Skill, giving you up to 450% Crit. DMG increase on a maximum stack.

It is best to build a Heavy Attack-centric team for this rift, as that is the main focus of the stage's buff, and characters that can combo their Resonance Skill with a fast cooldown.

You may choose to use the trial characters provided, but we also recommend using Jiyan or Calcharo as the Main DPS with either Mortefi or Yinlin acting as their Sub-DPS respectively, and inserting any of the support characters Baizhi or Verina to further enhance your main DPS' all-type Attack DMG.

Rift IX: Ethereal Rift

Rift Upgrade
・Echo Skill CD is reduced by 50%. ・After Resonators release Echo Skills, a wind field will be generated to continuously pull enemies. When the wind field disperses, Aero DMG will be dealt 1 time.
Recommended Characters

Ethereal Rift is the fourth stage in Alloy Smelt. Releasing your character's Echo Skill in this rift will summon a wind field that pulls in enemies and bursts Aero DMG after it disperses, perfect for crowd control.

You are free to use your best team for this rift, with the help of trial characters to your discretion. As this stage's effect upgrade mainly focuses on Echo Skill activation, make sure to equip your characters with the appropriate 4-cost Echoes that enhances their abilities and activate it whenever you need to group enemies for AOE attacks.

Rift X: Everlasting Rift

・Echo Skill CD is reduced by 100% for 5 seconds after Resonators release Intro Skills. ・Damage dealt by Resonators is increased by 10% after enemies are defeated, stacking up to 25 times.
Recommended Characters

Everlasting Rift is the fourth stage in Alloy Smelt. Keep in mind to switch characters often in this rift as triggering Intro Skills reduce that characer's Echo Skill cooldown by 100% and allowing you to spam it for 5 seconds. In addition, you can also get a maximum of 250% all-type DMG dealt for defeating 25 enemy waves.

It is recommended that you take your best team equipped with proper 4-cost Echoes that cater to their abilities.

You may choose to use the trial characters provided for this rift, but you may also add the Rover (Havoc) and Danjin both equipped with Dreamless for unlimited spam attacks of that Echo. Consider inserting Baizhi or Verina into the team for an increase in all-type Attack DMG.

How to Unlock Alloy Smelt

Complete Alloy Smelt Side Quest

The Side Quest Alloy Smelt will automatically appear on your quest list upon logging in on June 6, 2024 - June 27,2024.

Talk to Shilang

Talk to Shilang at Tiger's Maw Mine to initiate this quest. He will tell you about wanting to create the strongest Alloy by collecting samples from the Sonoro Sphere.

Investigate the Sonoro Sphere

The Sonoro Sphere is located at the lower level of Tiger's Maw Mine, within a shaft located underneath Shilang. After entering it, you may choose to proceed with the rift challenges, or exit immediately to progress the quest.

The quest will conclude after reporting back to Shilang, effectively unlocking the Alloy Smelt for the entirety of the event's duration.
