How to Avoid Being Petrified
Don't Get Hit by Salientian Stone Twice in a Row
Salientian Stone will cause your character to be petrified if you get hit twice in a row. However, you will not immediately get petrified upon getting hit for the first time so immediately maintain your distance from Sahagin Warriors after getting hit by the attack until the petrify wears off.

Pin the Fiend Intel on the map after activating the tower and then follow the waypoint to the south and you will encounter an abandoned ruins. Go inside the ruins and you will see the Fiend Intel.
How to Beat Sahagin Warrior
Use Focused Thrust to Increase Stagger
Use Cloud's Focused Thrust to increase the stagger gauge of Sahagin Warriors. Just keep doing this everytime your ATB bar is filled and you will eventually stagger the enemy to satisfy one of the conditions of this Fiend Intel.
How to Pressure and Stagger Enemies
Equip Assess Materia to Scan Enemy Information
It is highly recommended to equip the Assess Materia and Assess the Fiend to figure out their pressure conditions and also what their weaknesses or resistances are.
Scan Enemies to Unlock Chadley's Biological Intel Combat Simulator Missions
Scanning Fiends will also contribute to unlocking some Biological Intel missions as Chadley will require you to assess a certain amount of enemies within a region in order to unlock a Biological Intel combat simulator missions.

Use Blizzard Spells to Pressure

| Exploiting their elemental weakness will pressure them. |
Sahagin Warriors are weak to ice so it's best to equip your party with Ice Materia to cast Ice spells which will pressure the enemies.
