Use the fan at the south of the Dried Oasis Tower and glide using the Cosmo Canyon Chocobo towards the east of the fan where you will see a ramp that your Chocobo can land on. Once landing, follow the left narrow path until you see the Fiend Intel at the end.

Use Focused Thrust When Shirdal Casts Off Protective Wind

| They will eventually cast off their protective wind shrouds to send them hurtling around the battlefield. At this point, they will become pressured. |
Shirdal will occasionally cast off their protective wind which will automatically pressure them. Use Cloud's Focused Thrust when they are pressured to increase their stagger meter.
Use Infinity's End When They are Staggered
Use Cloud's Infinity's End once the Shirdal is staggered. This will deal massive damage despite its slow wind up and will help on defeating the Shirdal quickly.
The Infinity's End ability is acquirable from using the Crystal Sword.

Equip Assess Materia to Scan Enemy Information
It is highly recommended to equip the Assess Materia and Assess the Fiend to figure out their pressure conditions and also what their weaknesses or resistances are.
Scan Enemies to Unlock Chadley's Biological Intel Combat Simulator Missions
Scanning Fiends will also contribute to unlocking some Biological Intel missions as Chadley will require you to assess a certain amount of enemies within a region in order to unlock a Biological Intel combat simulator missions.
