What is the Magic Stat?

Determines Character's Magic Damage

The Magic stat determines the amount of magic damage done by you and your teammates when casting spells or. The higher this stat is, the more damage Aerith will do with her staff, which deals non-elemental magic damage.

A character's Magic stat will increase as they level up and can only be actively modified through their Magic Attack stat which is determined by the character's equipped weapon, armor and materia.

You can test your skills against Fiends scattered throughout regions and gain EXP by fighting them. You can always retry battling Fiends which is a perfect way to farm Exp.
