Whirligig Whack Strategy |

|
Thinking ahead to when the platform's pieces break off, try to stay close to the wedge's borders as much as possible. That way, if your platform piece is about to fall off, you can immediately jump to the next stable one.
Considering the directions of the beams, it's recommended to stay close to the border to your right. That way, you don't need to jump over the lower beam as you transfer to the other wedge and risk not reaching it.
Since the beams are laid out like a clock's hands, the closer you are to the platform's edge, the more time you have to react. If you play it safe too much and stay close to the axle, there will be less space to position yourself.
It's a good thing to remember that you can scuttle in the other direction if you need to position yourself correctly. This is a useful tip to remember if you see the beams starting to converge.
When positioning yourself, make adjustments by going clockwise and under the upper beam instead of the other way around and jumping over the lower one. There will be less risk of getting hit.
Ribbiting Rollers Strategy |

|
In Ribbiting Rollers, there will be 3 available platforms for you to stand on, and you and your party members will start in the middle one. Some of these platforms might move slowly, while others may move quickly.
Instead of merely dashing, pay attention tot he speed of the platform you're on and pace yourself accordingly. You wouldn't want to fall off the edge by going too fast. Jump or dash backwards if you need to position yourself properly.
More often than not, your party members (who have also been turned into frogs) will know where to go. A good tip is to follow them to whichever platform they hop on. Some of them might stray from the group, so follow the most consistent one.
Along the way, there will be wooden beams that will knock you off the platform and will cause the minigame to be over. Be sure to jump over these beams to stay on the platform longer.
Do time it right as you may end up jumping over them but over the edge as well.
The main objective of Jumpfrog is as straightforward as they come: stay on the platform by any means. Cloud and his teammates will be transformed into toads and put on a circular platform with two metal beams rotating in opposite directions.
In Whirligig Whack, the lower beam that rotates counter-clockwise needs to be jumped over. The upper beam, which rotates clockwise, needs to be passed under. These beams will rotate faster as the minigame progresses.
In Ribbiting Rollers, there will be wooden beams to the left and right platforms. You simply need to jump over these beams to stay on the platforms longer.
At some point in Whirligig Whack, pieces of the platform will break and fall off, giving you and your party members less space to move in. If you see the piece of the platform you're on shaking, rush out of there immediately!
As for Ribbiting Rollers, some platforms will move faster than others. Pace yourself accordingly to compensate for the platform's speed, lest you fall off the edge!
