Start a New Game and Play Through the Initial Scenes in Nibelheim

If you have a save file with completion of the Nibelheim Demo, the option to skip the Mako Reactor investigation will pop up after you defeat the Insectoid Chimeras, so playing through the initial scenes in Nibelheim is required. Skipping advances you to the Shinra Manor segment where you have to find Sephiroth inside.

Kupo Charm and Survival Set

Players who has a save data present on their PS5 will be able to claim the Kupo Charm accessory and a Survival Set containing a bunch of consumables for the full game!

Does FF7 Rebirth Demo Progress Carry Over?

Nibelheim Progress Will Be Carried Over to the Full Game

The first part of the demo, released on February 6, 2024, covers the Nibelheim episode of the full game. Completing it allows players to skip the same part on the full game and continue their journey where they left it.

Demo Walkthrough and Everything Included

Junon Progress Not Included

The Junon episode was released on February 21, 2024, more than a week before the full game release. This will only be available after completing the Nibelheim episode of the demo.

Since the events in this part of the demo were altered and will happen much later on in the game, demo progress in Junon will not be carried over.
