Hojo

Director of Shinra Company's Research and Development Division. He develops various biological weapons with ideas that are not bound by ethics or morals. He won't hesitate to treat even human lives as experimental materials for his own research. In order to verify his "Reunion Theory", he investigates the movements of the Black Cloaks, who have begun to move all at once from all over the land. EN VA: James Sie JP VA: Shigeru Chiba

Head of Science Research Division

Professor Hojo is the head of Shinra's Science Research Division, where he conducts experiments on human subjects. These experiments are also the reason why SOLDIER, the elite fighting force of the Shinra Company, was created.

Talked With Cloud and Aerith

When Aerith was captured, Professor Hojo told her about his plans for her and mentioned Ifalna's corpse. After this, Hojo meets Cloud and his friends in the Shinra Building where he then escapes by using one of his test subjects against them.

When Hojo met Cloud again later on, he tried to tell him more about his past but he got cut off by The Whispers. He also monitors Cloud's party as they go through The Drum.

Hojo's Role in FF7 Rebirth

Investigates Black Cloaks

In FF7 Rebirth, Hojo is still conducting his various experiments but has also begun tracking the Black Cloaks which started to move. He does this to prove his Reunion Theory. He also shows up in the final FF7 Rebirth Trailer in a helicopter with Rufus Shinra.
