The Genji Earrings are the perfect accessories for characters who can easily dodge out of attacks like Tifa and Yuffie.
Having a 15% damage increase to powerful characters who are hard to hit is a good risk to take, provided that you have mastered dodging and can easily get out of harm's way.

The Genji Ring is a great accessory for characters you'll be building as full tanks like Barret and Red XIII.
What makes this accessory desirable is the +15% damage reduction. For your full tank builds the -15% damage dealt is a good tradeoff if you want to prioritize survivability over damage.

The Gotterdammerung is an overpowered accessory when given to characters that deal high damage with their limit breaks such as Cloud, Tifa, and Cait Sith.
Having your limit gauge at the start of battle allows you to land heavy hits early on in the fight. The Gotterdammerung also gradually fills your limit gauge, allowing you to use your Limit Breaks more often in fights.

The Corsair's Compass is highly useful for any party member can constantly use different types of commands (such as Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie).
This accessory can be the shortcut to the synergy ability United Focus. You can prioritize other synergy abilities if only one frontline party member needs to have the 3-bar ATB gauge.
Note: To achieve the accessory's effect, your character must cast five different commands, like using five different Abilities, five different Spells, or a mix of both.

With an effect similar to a max level First Strike materia, this is better than stat-boosting accessories like HP Up Materia Earrings is that it's effect is not capped.
The Chocoking's Cape, when paired with a maxed out First Strike materia, fills 2 ATB charges at the start of the battle

This accessory is great in general if you want to have Haste immediately on any party member. Haste is used to speed up ATB gain for faster access to different commands in battle.

This is an extremely useful accessory for any character even in the endgame as it increases the physical and magic defense of your character by 50.
The granted immunity to Slow and Instant Death is a bonus but also comes in handy when fighting Tonberries or other enemies that apply Instant Death or Slow.

The Transference Module is a great accessory for characters that can spam abilities and can deal high damage with their limit breaks (like Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie, and Cait Sith).
This allows you to use your limit breaks more often in fights to increase your damage output. Materia such us First Strike, ATB Boost, and Time will greatly synergize with this accessory, allowing you to use more abilities and charge your Limit Gauge faster.

For Cait Sith's case, this is useful due to prolong Fury, Regen, and Shield from Roll o' The Dice. This is also useful for Barret as he has a Folio upgrade that automatically casts Protect on him at the start of battle.

This is also useful for Aerith as her Lvl. 3 Limit Break fills her allies limit gauges, allowing them to use their Limit Breaks right after.
This is extremely useful as it trivializes most fights by nuking enemies with the limit break once its gauge is full.

This is an extremely useful accessory for Aerith and Yuffie as both characters can doublecast spells including debuffs. This is also extremely useful for bosses as it prolongs the debuffs like Bio, Debrave, and Defaith.
Aside from the extension time of the debuffs on enemies, another selling point of this accessory is the time reduction of the debuffs applied to the wearer.

This is also useful for Red XIII as his abilities can heal himself, it can also be beneficial to the effects of HP Absorption materia and to characters who build ATB Fast and use Chakra or Pray (such as Cloud, Tifa, and Barret).
