Cast Fire Spells When Pyretail Is Covered in Flames

The Pyretail can be pressured during battle when you cast Fire Spells while it's enshrouding itself in blue flames.

As it will often Dodge attacks while on its feet, it's best to attempt this after you have successfully dodged its Whirling Fang or Subdue attacks, after which it will lie on the ground for a short period and be vulnerable.

Alternatively, you could exploit its weakness using Yuffie's Elemental Ninjutsu and build up its stagger meter for additional damage.
