One of the winning conditions is to not let your controlled character be poisoned. In order to achieve this, you need to switch to another party member when you see that Venorat is gonna do its poisonous attack.

To do this, press the directional buttons on your Dualshock 5 to switch to a different character. It is highly recommended to switch to a ranged character like Barret or Aerith as they can attack while being distant from the enemy.
