SQUARE LOST HAND IN THIS GAME BECAUSE A TONS OF STUPID MINIGAMES, THE SEPHIROTH IS JUST A HUGE PIECE OF SHIT AND THE ONE WHO CREATED MUST BE REALLY, REALLY STUPID GUY. THIS EXPLAINS A LOT WHEN YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND WHY THIS GAME DIDN'T GET GOTY. WORST MINIGAME I'VE EVER SAW IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, SQUARE ARE A BUNCH OF PSYCOPATHS.
This guide is very nice, however, the sephiroth portion is incorrect as there is a missing combo which is in my case the last combo.. Please add it for future players, the 3d brawler game is hard and stupid enough and I know you made this to facilitate people life. !! Good luck and thank you for the guide !!!
For Yuffie simply know that you want to use the stick that is the same side as the fist she cocks back. Besides that, move the stick up if she is leaning back with her head up; move the stick down if she is leaning forward with her head down.
Holding doesn't always work. Depending on the player, the player's controller, and the opponent. For me, it worked for everyone but Middle Mgr and Sephiroth. At best, I could block attacks with holding on those last two. I got better results with a firm push/pull *just after* pressing unpause. As in, like a millisecond after. Some people hold. Some flick. Some do a firm push/pull. None are entirely correct or incorrect. The timing windows in this game become so small that it's relative.
Please fix your guide for the Dio section
Sephiroth has a fourth combo that only comes out when cloud is near his limit break. Its the first combo but instead of ending on R down, there's another L up, L up and L down
An easy way to do this is pause just as they wind up for their attack. Study their position (this guide helps) then, while holding the correct stick and direction, unpause. They obviously get faster the higher the rank and some arm positions can be tricky but I was able to do it this way with ease. Sephiroth took 3 attempts.
