Eilara’s Grimoire is located inside a Chest at The Living Archive, in the Galawain's Tusks region, northeast of the Ash Forest. It is technically part of the Side Quest Keep History Alive.
To reach the The Living Archive, head northeast from the center of the Ash Forest.

| 1 |  Head to the entrance of The Living Archive. |
| 2 |  You can either enter through the front door, which requires three lockpicks, or climb up the left side and enter through a window. |
| 3 |  Once inside, head up to the second floor. You'll see a balcony with an altar. |
| 4 |  Eilara’s Grimoire should be inside the chest on the right side of the altar. |

Cost: 50 Essence Cooldown: 20 seconds Summons a magical spear for 30 seconds that releases Explosive Damage around each successful hit, damaging nearby enemies. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 2 |
 Freezing Pillar
|
Cost: 120 Essence Cooldown: 30 seconds Drives a large pillar of frigid ice into the ground, dealing damage and high Frost Accumulation to nearby enemies. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 3 |
 Pull of Eora
|
Cost: 70 Essence Cooldown: 20 seconds Cast upon a location to pierce the Beyond, pulling 2 nearby enemies and suspending them in the vortex. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 3 |
 Meteor Shower
|
Cost: 125 Essence Cooldown: 30 seconds Conjures a cataclysmic shower of destructive meteors that rain down upon the area, dealing high damage and Fire Accumulation to nearby enemies. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 4 |
Equip Grimoires in the off-hand slot to gain access to its innate abilities. Spells unlocked within the Wizard tree increase in potency when used via a Grimoire.
Note that some spells require the Grimoire Mastery passive at a certain rank to use.

Weapons can be upgraded in the Workbench, requiring Metal or Wood and Herbs of equal rarity to do so. Upgrading Weapons increases its stats, raising its effectiveness in combat.

| Eilara was a wizard of some renown that made a name for herself during the War of Defiance. She graduated from the Bragganhyl Academy with distinction and with barely a moment to rest boarded a ship for the Eastern Reach. Tensions were already high when Eilara arrived, and it was only a few months until war broke out. Still loyal to her empire, Eilara fought on the side of the Aedyrans to great effect. Entire squads of enemy soldiers fell to her powerful evocations, but eventually her life was claimed by the war as so many other had been. | |
