How to Get Carnet’s Cutlass
Attack Captain Carnet During Debt of Blood

Carnet's Cutlass can be obtained by attacking Captain Carnet during the Debt of Blood side quest in Emerald Stair. The quest starts by speaking to Vemas Rogera in the Abandoned Farms after a major event in Fior mes Iverno occurs during the events of Ancient Soil.
Note that this quest will only appear if the Steel Garrote in Waterfall Cave was not attacked during the Steel Resolve side quest.
Carnet’s Cutlass Best Enchantment
Press the Attack for More Attack Speed
| Press the Attack | Killing an enemy gives you +30% Attack Speed for 10 seconds |

Press the Attack Enhances this sword's already powerful on-kill bonus, allowing you to snowball kills against large groups of enemies with the fast swing rate.
This is much better than the alternative Enchantment, Reinforce the Line, that only restores a miniscule amount of Health and Essence with each Parry.

Weapons can be upgraded in the Workbench, requiring Metal or Wood and Herbs of equal rarity to do so. Upgrading Weapons increases its stats, raising its effectiveness in combat.
