Parasitic Staff Effects Per Rank

(Level)		 Effects Per Rank
Rank 1
(Lv. 1)		 Summons a staff of negative energy for 30 seconds that restores Essence to the wielder with every strike.
Rank 2
(Lv. 5)		 At the cost of 20 Essence, Power Attacks create a large area of effect, dealing high Stun to enemies and restoring a proportional amount of Essence to the wielder.
Rank 3
(Lv. 8)		 Increases summon duration to 45 seconds.

The higher ranks of Parasitic Staff increase the power and efficacy but will remain locked until you reach the required level to unlock it.

How to Unlock Parasitic Staff

Unlocked at the Start

Since you start as Level 1 in the game, you can activate the Parasitic Staff ability at the start of the game. However, you will still need to spend an Ability Point to unlock its base rank.
